Circuit Courts to be held at Invercargill.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-third day of November, 1880.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and au-
thority vested in the Governor by "The Supreme
Court Act, 1860," His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, doth hereby appoint that
the Circuit Court appointed to be held at the Resi-
dent Magistrate's Courthouse, Invercargill, shall,
from and after the date hereof, cease to be held at
the said Courthouse, and shall be held at the new
Courthouse at Invercargill, in lieu thereof, at the
times appointed for the sittings of the said Circuit
Court.

Cambridge Recreation-ground brought under "The
Public Domains Act, 1860."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-third day of November, 1880.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the eleventh section of "The Public
Reserves Act, 1877," I, James Prendergrast, Chief
Justice of the Colony of New Zealand, and Admin-
istrator of the Government thereof, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said colony, do hereby order and declare that the
reserve made for public recreation in the Provincial
District of Auckland, and known as the Cambridge
Recreation-ground, and described in the Schedule
hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under
the operation of and declared to be subject to the
provisions of "The Public Domains Act, 1860," and
its amending Acts; and such domain shall hereafter
be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner
directed by the said Acts.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 41 acres 2 roods, more or less, being
Lot 576 of the Town of Cambridge East, Parish of
Hautapu, Cambridge Survey District, Provincial Dis-
trict of Auckland. Bounded towards the North by
Thornton Road, 3793 links; towards the East by
Albert Street, 977 links; towards the South by
Whitaker Terrace, 3443 links; and towards the West
by Victoria Street, 762 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 347 acres, more or less, being called or
known as the Town Belt of Cambridge West, in the
Parish of Pukekura, Cambridge Survey District,
Provincial District of Auckland. Bounded towards
the North by the Waikato River, 2050 links; thence
generally Easterly by Rural Lots 120, 121, 122, 124,
125, 126, and 151, Parish of Pukekura, 12787 links;
thence generally Southerly by Rural Lots 151, 170,
169, 168, 167, 166, 165, Parish of Pukekura aforesaid,
9204 links; thence generally Westerly by Rural Lots

20, 24, 21, 21A, and 20B of the aforesaid parish,
12524 links; thence again Northerly by the Waikato
River, 2300 links; thence again generally Easterly
by Town Lots 571, 579, 567, 436, 180, 181, 182, 183,
184, 185, 186, 187, 188, 189, 190, and 191, by Shelby
Street, again by Town Lots 562, 561, 560, 559, thence
by Thompson Street and Shelby Street, 11345 links;
thence again Northerly by Lamb Street, 7105 links;
thence again generally Westerly by Carlyle Street,
Wordsworth Street, and Town Lots 115, 116, and a
stream, to the point of commencement, 8020 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Powers delegated to the Cambridge Domain Board
under "The Public Domains Act, 1860."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-third day of November, 1880.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the eleventh section of "The
Public Domains Act, 1860," it is enacted that
the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time
to time delegate all or any of the powers by the said
Act conferred upon any person for any period, and
subject to such stipulations as may be specified in
such order, and that every such delegation may from
time to time in like manner be altered or revoked:
And whereas it is enacted by "The Public Domains
Act, 1865," that the word "person" in the herein-
before recited section of "The Public Domains Act,
1860," shall be deemed to include more persons than
one: And whereas pursuant to "The Public Re-
serves Act, 1877," by an Order in Council of even
date herewith, the land described in the Schedule
thereto is declared to be brought under and to be
subject to the said "Public Domains Act, 1860:"
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council of the Colony of New
Zealand, doth, by this present order, delegate all the
powers conferred by the Act first above mentioned,
except the powers under or conferred by subsections
five and ten of section five, and section eleven, to the
under-mentioned persons, who shall be known as the
Cambridge Domain Board:-

JAMES PARKER CAMPBELL,
THOMAS WELLS,
ROBERT KIRKWOOD,
JOHN FISHER, and
EDWIN BARNES WALKER
(herein referred to as "the Board"), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,-

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of
    business on the first Saturday in each month, at four
    o'clock p.m., at the Town Board Office, Cambridge,
    or at such other time or place as may from time to
    time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall
    be held on Saturday, the fourth day December, one
    thousand eight hundred and eighty.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chair-
    man, or by any two members of the Board, provided
    that two days' notice of such meeting be given to
    each member, specifying the business to be trans-
    acted at such special meeting, and no other business
    than that so specified shall be transacted at such
    meeting.

  3. Any three of the said Board shall form a
    quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time
    to time.
