Declaring "Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876,"
force within Castlepoint Highway District.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue of the power vested in me by the third
section of "The Regulation of Local Elections
Act, 1876," I, Hercules George Robert Robinson,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the said Act shall
come into force, in respect of all the elective offices
of the Castlepoint Highway District Board, within
the district known as the Castlepoint Highway
Board District, in the County of Wairarapa East.

"Regulation of Local Elections Act" brought into
force in Castlepoint Rabbit District.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the seventh section of "The Rabbit
Nuisance Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1877," I,
Hercules George Robert Robinson, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby pro-
claim and declare that, from and after the day of
the date hereof, "The Regulation of Local Elections
Act, 1876," shall come into force in the Castlepoint
Rabbit District, as constituted by Order in Council
of the fourth day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty:
And I do hereby further proclaim and declare
that the first election of Trustees of the said dis-
trict shall be held on the sixth day of March next,
at the Public Hall, Tinui; and I appoint
ALEXANDER MCHUTCHON
to be Returning Officer to conduct the first elections
of Trustees for the said district.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and
authorities enabling me in that behalf, I, Her-
cules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that, by an Order in Council made under the
provisions of "The Bank Holidays Act, 1873," and
bearing even date herewith, I have declared that
Thursday, the twelfth day of February instant, shall
be a bank holiday within the Boroughs of Masterton
and Greytown, and the Counties of Wairarapa East
and Wairarapa West, under and for the purposes of
the said Act.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Rabbit Nuisance Act 1876
Amendment Act, 1877," it is enacted that, in
addition to the power of proclaiming districts given
by the third section of "The Rabbit Nuisance Act,
1876," the Governor might from time to time, by
Order in Council, direct that any part of the colony
to be defined therein should be a rabbit district for
the purposes of "The Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1876:"
Now, therefore, I, Hercules George Robert Robin-
son, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the
powers vested in me by the firstly hereinbefore
recited Act, do hereby order and direct that that
