Sheep District of Waiau amended.β€”Notice No. 22.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the eighth section
of "The Sheep Act, 1878," and of all other powers
and authorities enabling me in that behalf, I,
Hercule George Robert Robinson, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that so much of the Proclamation of the
twenty-third day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-nine, as describes the Waiau
Sheep District is hereby rescinded:

And I hereby proclaim and declare that the Waiau
Sheep District shall, for the purposes of the said Act,
hereafter be as the same is described in the Schedule
hereto, and that such district and subdivisions shall
be known respectively by the names set forth in the
said Schedule; and that all boroughs in such district
shall be deemed to be included in the counties
wherein they are situate.

SCHEDULE.

WALAU SHEEP DISTRICT.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Nelson, bounded towards the North by the Henry
River, from its source at Travers Peak to its con-
fluence with the Waiauua or Dillon River; thence
towards the East by the right bank of that river to
the boundary fence between St. Leonard's Run and
Culverden and Balmoral Runs, thence by that fence
to the Hurunui River at a point at or near the con-
fluence of the Pahau River, thence due south to the
right bank of the Hurunui; towards the South by
the right bank of the Hurunui River to its source at
the saddle between the Hurunui and Teremakau
Rivers; and towards the West by the summit of the
watershed to Travers Peak, the starting point; and
shall comprise the following subdivisions:β€”

The Glen Wye Subdivision.

Comprising the runs and farms owned by Messrs.
T. Holmes, W. A. Low, and E. Jones.

The Waiau Subdivision.

Comprising all that portion of the Waiau Sheep
District which is not comprised in the Glen Wye
Subdivision.

Given under the hand of His Excellency
Sir Hercules George Robert Robinson,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distin-
guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued
under the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-sixth day of January, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and eighty.

Dog Registrars appointed (Canterbury).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by "The
(Canterbury) Dog Nuisance Ordinance, Session
XVII., No. 3," "The (Canterbury) Dog Nuisance
Amendment Ordinance, 1862," and "The Abolition
of Provinces Act, 1875," I, Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zea-
land, do hereby appoint the persons whose names
appear in the first column of the Schedule hereto to
be the persons to register dogs for the places set
opposite their names in the second column of the
said Schedule: And I do further appoint the places
mentioned in the third column of the said Schedule
to be the offices at which persons shall register their
dogs.
