Land withdrawn from Sale in Auckland.

HERCULES ROBINSON, Govornor.

IN pursuance of the power and authority in me
vested in this behalf by the one hundred and
sixty-seventh section of "The Land Act, 1877," I,
Sir Hercules George Robert Robinson, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby withdraw
from sale the land described in the Schedule here-
under written.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood
and 49 poles, more or less, situated in Block XV.,
Mangamuka Survey District, and being Lots 54 and
55 of the Suburbs of Hokianga. Bounded towards
the North-east by Lots 53 and 56, 790 links;
towards the South-east by a street, 205 links;
towards the South-west by a street, 807 links; and
towards the North-west by a street, 270 links: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this ninth day of May, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which in his opinion are required for any of the pur-
poses in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do
hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the
Provincial District of Taranaki described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the
said Schedule specified.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District
of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement one (1)
rood, more or less, being part of Block CXVI. on
the map of Raleigh West. Bounded towards the
North-east by West Quay, 122.5 links; towards the
South-east by Stafford Street, 225.7 links; towards
the South-west by Queen Street, 120 links; and
towards the North-west by other part of the said
block, 201 links. For a site for a police station.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District
of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement two (2)
roods, more or less, being part of Block XXXVII.
towards the North-east, South-east, and South-west
by other part of Block XXXVII., respectively 200,
250, and 200 links; and towards the North-west by
a road, 250 links. As a site for a police station.

10 chains; and towards the North-west by a road
line, 5 chains: : as the same is delineated on the
official map in the Provincial District Survey Office,
Christchurch. For a gravel pit.

Also all that area in the Opuha Survey District,
Provincial District of Canterbury, containing five (5)
acres, more or less, being Section numbered 2386 (in
red). Bounded towards the Northward by a road
line, about 510 links; towards the Eastward by Sec-
tion numbered 30648, about 950 links; towards the
Southward by Crown lands, about 500 links; and
towards the Westward by Crown lands, about 1050
links as the same is delineated on the official map
in the Provincial District Survey Office, Christchurch.
For a gravel pit.

And also all that area in the Opuha Survey Dis-
trict, Provincial District of Canterbury, containing
five (5) acres, more or less, being Section numbered
2385 (in red). Bounded towards the Northward by
Section 20937 and also by Crown lands, 10 chains;
towards the Eastward by Crown lands, 5 chains;
towards the Southward by Crown lands, 10 chains;
and towards the Westward by a road line, 5 chains:
as the same is delineated on the official map in the
Provincial District Survey Office, Christchurch. For
a gravel pit.
