temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral lease, any Crown lands
which, in his opinion, are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do
hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the
Provincial District of Auckland described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the
said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement one (1)
acre three (3) roods and thirty-one (31) perches,
more or less, situated in the Otahuhu Survey Dis-
trict, and being Lot 49 of Section 1 of small lots
near the Village of Panmure. Bounded towards the
North by a road, 350 links; towards the East by Lot
52, 556 links; towards the South by Lot 57, 350
links; and towards the West by Lot 50, 556 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As a site
for a public watering-place.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this ninth day of May, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by

1288 links; on the South-east by a road, 1230 links;
and on the West and North-west by Lots 81, 76, 77,
and 68, 2378 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less. For the purpose of obtaining road-
metal.
As witness the hand of his Excellency the

house Reserve aforesaid, 444'4 links; and towards
the West by a street, 225 links: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less. For the use of aboriginal
natives of the colony.
