NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels
hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
within one month after the date of the Gazette con-
taining this notice.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

WHEREAS a declaration has been lodged with
me by THOMAS MACKEY and MICHAEL
HOULAHAN, the registered Proprietors of Allotment
No. 29, containing 24 perches, situated in the Town
of Stafford, in the Provincial District of Westland,
of the loss of the Crown grant of the said allotment,
bearing date the 30th day of September, 1872, and
entered in the Register Book of the said district,
Vol. i., folio 152: I hereby give notice that I intend
to issue a provisional certificate to the said Thomas

Mackey and Michael Houlahan for the said allot-
ment, unless caveat be lodged within fourteen days
from the date of the publication in the Gazette of
this notice.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that a statutory declara-
tion of the loss of grant from the Crown to
ROSANNA WATSON of Lot 289, Section 2, of the
Town of Tauranga, containing 1 rood, and being the
whole of the land described in Vol. xvi., folio 33, of
the Register Book, having been filed in this office,
and application having been made for the issue of a
provisional certificate for the same, it is my intention
to issue such provisional certificate, unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same on or before the 18th day
of April next.

Dated at the Land Transfer Office, Auckland, this
25th day of March, 1879.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that JOHN HARDY, of
Oamaru, Civil Engineer, and GEORGE LIND-
SAY, of Tokomairiro, Settler, claiming as Devisees
under the Will of THOMAS LEWIS, late of Tokomai-
riro aforesaid, Hotelkeeper and Farmer, deceased,
have made application to the District Land Registrar
to be registered as Proprietors of an estate in fee-simple
of the following parcels of land, viz.: Sections 39, 46,
48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 60, 66, 67, 61, Block VIII., Dis-
trict of Akatore, and half of Section 57, Block VII.,
District of Tokomairiro; and that they will be so
registered as such proprietors, unless caveat be lodged
at this office forbidding same within one calendar
month from the date of gazetting this notice.

BRUNNER COAL-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

AN extraordinary general meeting of Share-
holders of the above-named Company, held at
the Company's Office, Greymouth, on Thursday, the
20th day of March, 1879, the following Resolution
was passed: "That this meeting, having considered
the Liquidator's accounts, is of opinion that the
affairs of the Brunner Coal Mining Company (Limited)
have been fairly wound up.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
hitherto subsisting between us has been this day
dissolved by mutual consent. The business will be
carried on, under the name or style of "Lyon and
Blair," by Mr. J. R. Blair, who will receive all
moneys due to the late firm, and pay all debts due by
the late firm.
