Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, Adminis-
trator of the Government of the Colony of New
Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do
hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in
the Provincial District of Wellington described in
the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in
the said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land in Blocks XII. and
XVI., Waipakura Survey District, and Blocks IX.
and XIII., Mangawhero Survey District, and situate
in the Provincial District of Wellington, estimated to
contain 3,600 acres, more or less, being the block
called Pikopiko No. 1. Bounded towards the
North by Native land, 10968 links; towards the
East by Te Maire and Kaikai Blocks, 19839 links;
towards the South by Pikopiko No. 2, Makirikiri
and Matataranui Blocks, 40800 links; and towards
the West by Mangaone and Waimatao Blocks, 30642
links. For the purposes of education.
All that piece or parcel of land in Block XVI.,
Waipakura Survey District, and Block XIII., Manga-
whero Survey District, and situate in the Provincial
District of Wellington, estimated to contain 310 acres,
more or less, being the block called Pikopiko No.
2. Bounded towards the North-east by the Kaikai
and Otaika Blocks, 5013 links; towards the South
by Makirikiri and Makirikiri No. 2 Blocks, 10749
links; and towards the North-west by Makirikiri
and Pikopiko No. 1 Blocks, 7600 links. For the
purposes of education.
All that piece or parcel of land being Section No.
5, Block X., Mangawhero Survey District, and
situate in the Provincial District of Wellington, con-
taining 675 acres, more or less. Bounded on the
North by Section No. 4, Block VII., of the said
survey district; on the East by the Wangaehu River;
on the South by Section No. 6, Block X., of the said
survey district; and on the West by the Parateike
Block. For the purposes of education.
All that piece or parcel of land being Section No.
6, Block X., Mangawhero Survey District, and situate
in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing
674 acres 1 rood, more or less. Bounded on the North
by Section No. 5, Block X., of the said survey district;
on the South by Section No. 7, Block X., of the said
survey district; on the East by the Wangaehu River;
and on the West by the Parateike Block. For the
purposes of education.
All that piece or parcel of land being Section No.
7, Block X., Mangawhero Survey District, and situate
in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing
618 acres, more or less. Bounded on the North by
Section No. 6, Block X., of the said survey district;
on the South by Section No. 8, Block X., of the said
survey district; on the East by the Wangaehu River;
and on the West by the Parateike Block. For
the purposes of education.
All that piece or parcel of land being Section No.
10, Block XIV., Mangawhero Survey District, and
situate in the Provincial District of Wellington, con-
taining 387 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded on
the North by Section No. 9, Block XIV., of the said
survey district; on the East by Native land; on the
South by the Wangaehu River; and on the West
by the Mangawhero Block. For the purposes of
education.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government, this
twenty-second day of March, one thou-
sand eight hundred and seventy-nine.

section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which, in his opinion, are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Administrator of the Government of
the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pur-
suance of the powers and authorities vested in me
by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from
sale the land in the Provincial District of Nelson
described in the Schedule hereunder written, for
the purposes in the said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land being Section
numbered thirteen (13), Town of Waiau, in the
Provincial District of Nelson, containing by admea-
surement one (1) rood, more or less. Bounded on
the North by Montrose Street, 250 links; towards
the East by Section 13 of the said town, 100 links;
towards the South by Section 14 of the said town,
250 links; and towards the West by Leslie Street,
100 links. As a school site.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government, this
first day of April, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-nine.

Block one (I.), on the map of the said district.
Bounded towards the North by part of Section 1 of 40,
Block I., 710-6 links; towards the East and South-
east by the Waitati Stream, 2000 links; and towards
the West by a road line forming the boundary
between Blocks I. and III., North Harbour and
