general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which in his opinion are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, the Ad-
ministrator of the Government of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act,
do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in
the Provincial District of Auckland described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the
said Schedule specified.
Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, the Ad-
ministrator of the Government of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act,
do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in
the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay described in
the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in
the said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land being the Lot No. thirteen
(13), Suburb of Waiomio, Kawakawa Survey District,
containing by admeasurement five (5) acres and
twenty-seven (27) perches, more or less. Bounded
towards the North-east by Lot 14, 899 links; towards
the South-east by a road, 560 links; towards the
South-west by a road, 898 links; and towards the
North-west by a road, 563 links. For a Cemetery.
All that parcel of land being the Lot No. one
hundred and twenty-nine (129), Parish of Kaukapa-
kapa, Kaipara Survey District, containing by admea-
surement four (4) acres and two (2) roods, more or
less. Bounded towards the East and South by a
road and the Kaukapakapa River, 2890 links; and
towards the West and North-west by a road, 1748
links. For a landing-place.
All that parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment five (5) acres, more or less, being the Section
No. three hundred and forty-nine (349), of Block
III., Parish of Waioeka, Opotiki Survey District.
Bounded towards the North by the Otara River, 1214
links; towards the East by Section 332, 240 links;
towards the South and South-west by a road, 1619
links; and towards the North-west by Section 335,
488 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
For a Slaughterhouse site.
All that parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment ten (10) acres, more or less, being the Section
No. one hundred and thirty-eight (138), of Block
I., Parish of Awhitu, Awhitu Survey District.
Bounded towards the North-east by a road, 1666.5
links; towards the South-east by Section No. 136,
1090 links; towards the South-west by Section No.
136, 1482 links; and towards the North-west by
Section No. 136, 389 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. For a Cemetery.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government, this

links; towards the South by Queen Street, two hun-
dred (200) links; and towards the West by Section
No. 341, two hundred and fifty (250) links: as the
same is delineated on the plan of the Township of
Clyde deposited in the Survey Office, Napier. As a
School site.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District
of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement one
(1) acre one (1) rood and twenty-seven (27) perches,
more or less, being a portion of Suburban Section
No. six (6), Class No. 1, in the Township of Clyde.
Bounded towards the North-east by Kabul Street,
firty-eight (58) links; towards the South-east by other
portion of the said section, five hundred (500) links;
towards the South-west by Sections Nos. 9, 8, and 7,
five hundred and eleven (511) links; and towards the
North by Town Sections Nos. 142, 141, 140, 139, and
137, six hundred and eighty-three (683) links: as the
same is delineated on the plan of the Township of
Clyde deposited in the Survey Office, Napier. Asa
School site.

Administrator of the Government, this
eighteenth day of March, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-nine.

Name of Mongonui Highway District changed to
Oruru.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in
me by the seventh section of the Act of the
Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Pro-
vince of Auckland the short title of which is "The
Highways Act, 1874," and "The Abolition of Pro-
vinces Act, 1875," I, James Prendergast, the Admin-
istrator of the Government of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby notify that the name of the
Mongonui Highway District shall be and the same
is hereby changed to that of the Oruru Highway
District.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government, this
eighteenth day of March, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-nine.
