And whereas by virtue of a Crown grant bearing
date the sixth day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy, the parcel of land and here-
ditaments described in the Schedule hereto became
vested in Pita Taurua, of the District of Coromandel,
in the Province of Auckland, an aboriginal native of
New Zealand:
And whereas the said Pita Taurua died intestate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land Court
held at Kapanga, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, on the tenth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-eight, Wiremu Taurua
claimed to succeed to the said Pita Taurua in the
parcel of land described in the said Schedule, and it
was ordered by the said Court that Wiremu Taurua,
an infant under the age of twenty-one years, should
succeed to the said Pita Taurua in the hereditaments
aforesaid; and it is expedient that Charles Ring and
Richard Coupland be appointed trustees under the
said Act, on behalf of the said Wiremu Taurua:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the said Act, doth hereby order that the
land and hereditaments described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and remain vested in
CHARLES RING and
RICHARD COUPLAND,
as Trustees, within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act, for the said Wiremu Taurua during
his minority.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Province of Auckland,
in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by ad-
measurement one (1) acre aud seven (7) perches,
more or less, situate at Coromandel, in the District
of Coromandel, being called or known by the name
of Parangu No. 11, and numbered 1755. Bounded
towards the North-east by the Tiki Road, 265 links;
towards the South-east by a line, 500 links; towards
the South-west by a line, 138 links; and towards the
North-west by the Parangu No. 8 Block, 355 links
and 50 links; and by the Kapanga Road, 138 links.

Appointing Charles Ring and Richard Coupland
Trustees under "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of January, 1879.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867" (hereinafter called "the
said Act"), it is enacted that, if any title to or
interest in any hereditaments shall accrue to any
Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or
interest therein as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:

by the name of Kahakaharoa No. 2, and numbered
230N. Bounded towards the North by the Kaha-
kaharoa Stream; towards the East by a line, 440
links; towards the South-east by a line, 400 links;
and towards the West by a line, 725 links.

Fixing Date of Sittings of Circuit Courts at Nelson
and Hokitika.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-eighth day of January, 1879.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by " "The Supreme Court Act, 1860,"
it is enacted that there shall be held Circuit
Courts for the despatch of Civil and Criminal busi-
ness of the Court before one of the Judges thereof,
at such places and times as the Governor in Council
may from time to time appoint:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in him by "The Supreme Court
Act, 1860," doth hereby appoint that there shall be
held in the Nelson District, at the Provincial Council
Hall at Nelson, on Tuesday, the first day of April,
next, and in the Westland District, at the Supreme
Courthouse at Hokitika, on Tuesday, the eighteenth
day of March next, Circuit Courts for the despatch
of Civil and Criminal business of the said Court.
