Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Lyell on or before
the 26th day of December, 1879.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Lyell.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANTS: Martin Conradson and Luca Fantella.
Style under which it is intended to conduct the
business: "Band of Hope 213 Mining Company."
16 acres 2 roods, in the Alpine Range, Lyell
Creek, Nelson South-West Mining District.

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of

Gold-Mining Lease Application withdrawn.

IN pursuance of Regulation No. 24 of Appendix A.
to "The Mines Act, 1877," it is hereby notified
that the application of Malcolm McLeod, Henry
Prosser, and Robert Sweeney, for a gold-mining lease
of five acres of land situated at Vinegar Hill, in the
Mount Ida Mining District, has been withdrawn;
and that the land is now open to persons holding
miners' rights or business licenses, or to applicants
for a lease, as if no lease of the same had ever been
applied for.

twenty-sixth day of November, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

Agricultural Lease cancelled.

IT is hereby notified that the agricultural lease
No. 680c, of Sections 6 and 10, Block III.,
Table Hill, granted to John Thomson under "The
Gold Fields Act, 1866," has been cancelled; and
that the land is now open for occupation as if no
lease thereof had been issued.
