In the Supreme Court of New Zealand. ----Divorce and
Matrimonial Causes Jurisdiction.

NOTICE is hereby given that three or more of the
Judges of the Supreme Court of New Zealand
will sit at the Supreme Courthouse, Wellington, on
Monday, the eighteenth day of November next, at
eleven o'clock in the forenoon, to hear and deter-
mine petitions for the dissolution or for a sentence
of nullity of marriage, under section 60 of "The
Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1867," and
also for the despatch of all other business accruing
under the said Act.

Dated at Wellington, this thirteenth day of Sep-
tember, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
eight.

PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following name of an Officiating Minister
within the meaning of the said Act is published for
general information :-

Church of the Province of New Zealand, commonly
called the Church of England.

Sale of Crown Lands.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned
allotments of Crown lands will be offered for
sale by public auction, at the Lands Office, Hokitika,
on Wednesday, the 16th day of October next, at
2 o'clock p.m.

One-fourth of the purchase-money to be paid at
the sale, and the remainder within one calendar
month, or the deposit will be forfeited.

SUBURBAN LAND.

Section 2051, containing 2 acres. Upset price, £6;
to which will be added £31 for value of improve-
ments made. Situate near Donoghue's.

Section 2057, containing 6 acres 23 perches, situate
in the Grey District, on the line of road from Grey-
mouth to Marsden, having a frontage to same of 10
chains. Upset price, £18 8s. 6d.

Section 2058, containing 6 acres 22 perches, ad-
joining Section 2057, as above described. Upset
price, £18 8s. 6d.

Section 2059, containing 1 acre, situate at Wood-
stock, westward of bridge site opposite Kanieri.
Upset price, £3; to which will be added the sum of
£115 for improvements made on the land.

Also, at the same time and place, the right of
pasturage over the runs hereunder mentioned, for
the term of ten years, will, under the provisions of
"The Land Act, 1877," be submitted to public
auction.

SCHEDULE.

Run No. 9, with an area of 24,000 acres, situated
at the Browning, Kokatahi, and Toaroha Rivers.
Upset price, £50 per annum.

Run No. 21, containing 10,000 acres, at the Waita
River. Upset price, £20 16s. 8d. per annum.

Run No. 43, comprising 7,000 acres, at the Maka-
wiho River, north branch. Upset price, £14 11s. 8d.
per annum.

Sheep Inspector's Notice.

NOTICE has been received from the Inspector of
Sheep for the East Coast District that he
has cancelled the clean certificate of Mr. Duncan
Cameron, Blairlogie, mixed flock of 8,000; from the
7th instant.

NOTICE has been received from the Inspector of
Sheep for the Wellington District that he has
granted a clean certificate to Mr. C. Fisher, Hutt
Road, for a flock of mixed sheep of 300.

Lost Land Orders. - Commissioner's Report No. 19.

I, DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed
by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly
of New Zealand, intituled "The Lost Land Orders
Act, 1861," to hear and decide claims for Crown
grants of lands for which the original land orders
have been lost or destroyed, report that the claim of
Henry Westwood Hoffman, of Fulham, in England,
Doctor of Medicine, having been referred to me by
command of the Governor, I do hereby decide that
the said Henry Westwood Hoffman is entitled to a
Crown grant of Section No. 1021, in the City of
Wellington, and of Government scrip under the pro-
visions of "The Manawatu Land Orders Act, 1877,"
in satisfaction of Land Order No. 855, issued by the
New Zealand Company, now declared to be lost.

Dated at Wellington, the 14th day of September,
1878.
