SCHEDULE.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Taranaki, containing together by admeasurement
twenty-nine (29) acres two (2) roods twenty (20)
perches, being Sections numbered one hundred and
thirty-nine (139) and one hundred and forty (140)
on the map of the Hua District. Bounded towards
the North by the Waiwakaiho River; towards the
East by Section numbered one hundred and thirty-
eight (138), one thousand two hundred and ninety
(1290) links; towards the South by the Devon Road,
two thousand nine hundred and seventy-four (2974)
links; and towards the West by the Smart Road,
one thousand one hundred and seventy (1170) links.
For a gravel reserve.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this eighteenth day of June,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
eight.

name or that of any other person being entered on or
omitted from the roll of such riding, or by the num-
ber of votes allotted to him or to any other person

Land temporarily reserved in the Provincial District
of Westland.

NORMANBY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which in his opinion are required for any of the pur-
poses in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act,
do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in
the Provincial District of Westland, described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the
said Schedule specified.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Westland, containing by admeasurement one (1)
acre, more or less, being Section numbered one
hundred and ninety-two (192) (in red) on the map
of the Waimea Survey District. Bounded on the
North-eastward by the new deviation Greenstone
Road, and having a width of two hundred (200)
links, and depth (in a south-westerly direction) to
include the quantity; exclusive of the old line
Greenstone Road, one hundred (100) links wide,
running through the said land. As a site for a
school.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this eighteenth day of June,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
eight.

Trustees appointed for Maintenance of Ellesmere
Cemetery.

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the second section
of "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," I,
George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Nor-
manby, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint the several persons whose names
are specified in the first column of the Schedule
hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance
and care of the Public Cemetery specified in the
second column of the said Schedule.

east by Harman's Road for a distance
of 16 chains 82 links; towards the
North-west by Section numbered 14458
for a distance of 10 chains 38 links;
and towards the South-west by the
latter section, and Section numbered
351 (in red), distances respectively of
13 chains 89 links, and 29 chains 22
links: as the same is delineated on
the plans deposited in the Provincial
District Survey Office, Christchurch. |

Governor, this eighteenth day of June,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-

Riding in Whangarei County, pursuant to the 47th
Section of "The Counties Act, 1876."

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the forty-seventh section of "The
Counties Act, 1876," I, George Augustus Constan-
tine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, hereby appoint the
Magistrate's Court named in the first column of the
Schedule hereto to be the Resident Magistrate's
Court for the riding in the County of Whangarei

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve.

NORMANBY, Governor.

WHEREAS by "The Land Act, 1877," it is,
amongst other things, enacted that it shall be
lawful for the Governor to change the specific pur-
pose for which any land has theretofore been set
apart as a reserve, or to make such change in respect
