Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

In conformity with the thirty-seventh section of "The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicants specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Reefton, on or before the 29th day of June, 1878.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Reefton.

SCHEDULE.

Applicants: Thomas Collins and Robert Savage. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: "Gem Gold-Mining Company." Sixteen acres two roods, in the Inangahua (Nelson South-West) Mining District.

Given under my hand, at Nelson, this tenth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight.

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

In conformity with the thirty-seventh section of "The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicants specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Westport, on or before the 20th day of June, 1878.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Westport.

SCHEDULE.

Applicants: John McTaggart, David McKnight, Patrick Kelly, and James Collins. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: "Virgin Flat Sluicing Company." Ten acres, situate near Addison’s, Buller, Nelson South-West Mining District.

Given under my hand, at Nelson, this fourth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight.
