THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
The Bay of Islands Subdivision.
Comprising the Counties of Mongonui, Hokianga,
and Bay of Islands.
The Marsden Subdivision.
Comprising the Counties of Whangarei, Hobson,
and Rodney.
The Auckland Subdivision.
Comprising the Counties of Waitemata, Manukau,
Eden, Thames, and Coromandel.
The Waikato Subdivision.
Comprising the Counties of Waikato, Raglan,
Waipa, and Piako.
The Bay of Plenty Subdivision.
Comprising the Counties of Whakatane, Tauranga,
and so much of the East Taupo County as is included
in the Provincial District of Auckland.
The Poverty Bay Subdivision.
Comprising the County of Cook.
The Taupo Subdivision.
Comprising the Counties of West Taupo and
Kawhia.
NAPIER DISTRICT.
The Napier District shall comprise the Counties
of Wairoa, Hawke's Bay, Waipawa, so much of the
East Taupo County as is not in the Provincial Dis-
trict of Auckland, and that portion of the Wanga-
nui County which lies within a boundary formed
by a straight line drawn from Trigonometrical Station
No. 32 due West until it strikes the Mangawhero
branch of the Whangaehu River; thence by the
Mangawhero Stream to its source; thence by a
straight line to the south-west corner of the East
Taupo County; and thence by the boundary of the
East Taupo County to the County of Hawke's Bay.
NEW PLYMOUTH DISTRICT.
The New Plymouth District shall comprise the
County of Taranaki.
WELLINGTON DISTRICT.
The Wellington District shall comprise the follow-
ing subdivisions:-
The Wanganui Subdivision.
Comprising the Counties of Patea, and so much
of the Wanganui County as is not included in the
Napier Sheep District.
The Rangitikei Subdivision.
Comprising the County of Rangitikei, and so much
of the Manawatu County as is north of the Mana-
watu River.
The Wellington Subdivision.
Comprising the County of Hutt, and so much of
the Manawatu County as lies south of the Manawatu
River, together with the Islands of Kapiti, Mana,
and Somes.
The North Wairarapa Subdivision.
Comprising so much of the Counties of Waira-
rapa East and Wairarapa West as is bounded
towards the North-east by a line from the summit of
the Tararua Range to the source of the Ruamahanga
River; thence by the Ruamahanga River to the junc-
tion with the Taueru River; thence up the Taueru
River and Kourarau Creek to its intersection with
the southern boundary of Section No. 41, Tupurpuru
Block; thence by the southern boundaries of Sec-
tions 41, 57, 58, 59, 60, 86, 85, and 79, to the Wai-
nuioru River; thence down the Wainuioru and Pahaua
Rivers to the sea.
The South Wairarapa Subdivision.
Comprising so much of the Counties of Wairarapa
East and Wairarapa West as are not included in the
North Wairarapa Subdivision.
NELSON DISTRICT.
The Nelson District shall comprise the following
Subdivisions :--
The Buller and Grey Subdivision.
Bounded towards the West by the Pacific Ocean
from the mouth of the River Heaphy to the mouth
of the River Grey; thence up the River Grey to its
junction with the Arnold River; thence up the Arnold
River to Lake Brunner; thence up the boundary of
the Provincial District of Westland until it strikes
the eastern boundary of the Nelson South-West
Gold Fields; thence by the eastern boundary of the
Nelson South-West Gold Fields to the junction of
the Rivers Hope and Buller; thence in a straight
line to the Karamea Bend on Square 156; thence in
a straight line to Mount Peel; thence by the summit
of the range to Mount Domett; thence in a straight
line to the mouth of the River Heaphy.
The Golden Bay Subdivision.
Bounded by the sea-coast from the mouth of
the River Heaphy to Reef Point, Tasman Bay;
thence in a straight line to the summit of Mount
Richards; thence in a southerly direction by the
summit of the range to Mount Campbell; thence in
a straight line to Mount Peel; thence by the northern
boundary of the Buller and Grey Sheep District to
the mouth of the Heaphy River, on the sea-coast.
The Motueka Subdivision.
Bounded Northward by high-water mark from
Reef Point, Tasman Bay, to the West Bluff;
thence in a straight line to the junction of the
Motupiko and Motueka Rivers; thence by the
boundary of the Nelson South-West Gold Fields to
the junction of the Rivers Hope and Buller; thence
by the boundary of the Buller and Grey Sheep Dis-
trict to the Karamea Bend; thence in a straight line
to Mount Peel; thence following the boundary of
the Golden Bay Sheep District to Reef Point.
The Nelson Subdivision.
Bounded by high-water mark from the West
Bluff, following the coast line to Tennyson Inlet;
thence following the boundary of the Provincial Dis-
trict of Marlborough to the Top House; thence in a
straight line to Mount Mackay; thence following
the boundary of the Nelson South-West Gold Fields
to the junction of the Motupiko with the Motueka
River; thence by a straight line following the boun-
dary of the Motueka Sheep District to the West
Bluff on the sea-coast.
The Amuri Subdivision.
Bounded Southward by the boundary of the
Provincial District of Canterbury; Westward
by the eastern boundary of the Nelson South-
West Gold Fields to Mount Mackay; thence by a
straight line to the Top House; thence by the boun-
dary of the Provincial District of Marlborough to the
mouth of the River Conway; thence by the sea-
coast to the mouth of the River Hurunui.
WESTLAND DISTRICT.
The Westland District shall comprise the Provincial
District of Westland.
MARLBOROUGH DISTRICT.
The Marlborough District shall comprise the fol-
lowing subdivisions :--
