  1. The Clerk of the County of Coromandel shall
    forthwith, after receiving from the Chairman of the
    said Board a true copy (certified as such under the
    hand of such Chairman), of the valuation roll afore-
    said, place on the electors' roll of the riding in which
    the said district or any part is situate, the name of
    every person who appears from such valuation roll to
    be rated in respect of property situate within such
    riding, and shall assign to each such person the
    number of votes which he is entitled to give at an
    election of the County Council. Every person whose
    name is so placed shall be deemed and taken to be a
    county elector, and entitled to vote at every election
    of the Council for the riding in which he is enrolled.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
second day of October, 1878.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and autho-
rity vested in him by the three hundred and fif-
tieth section of "The Municipal Corporations Act,
1876," and upon the request of the Borough of
Queenstown, His Excellency the Governor, by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby order
that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall
be and the same is hereby reserved out of the waste
lands of the Provincial District of Otago, for the
purpose of granting the same to the Corporation of
the Borough of Queenstown.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Otago, containing by admeasurement ten
[10] poles, more or less, being Section 34, Block VII.,
Queenstown. Bounded towards the North-west by
Shotover Street, seventy-four [74] links; towards
the North-east by Section 33 of said block, eighty-
five [85] links; towards the South-east by Sections
13, 14, 15, and 16, of said block, seventy-four [74]
links; and towards the South-west by Section 35 of
said block, eighty-five [85] links.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Otago, containing by admeasurement
thirty-four [34] poles, more or less, being Sections 9
and 19, Block VIII., Queenstown. Bounded towards
the North-west by Sections numbered 10 and 18 of
said block, three hundred and thirty-five [335] links;
towards the North-east by Hay Street, sixty-five [65]
links; towards the South-east by Sections numbered
respectively 8 and 20 of said block, three hundred
and thirty-five [335] links; and towards the South-
west by Lake Street, sixty-five [65] links.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Otago, containing by admeasurement
nineteen [19] poles, more or less, being Section 9,
Block IX., Queenstown. Bounded towards the
North-west by Man Street, sixty-two [62] links;
towards the North-east by Section 8 of said block,
one hundred and ninety-eight [198] links; towards
the South-east by Section 28 of said block, sixty-two
[62] links; and towards the South-west by Section
10 of said block, one hundred and ninety-eight [198]
links.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Otago, containing by admeasurement
seven [7] poles, more or less, being Section 16, Block
X., Queenstown. Bounded towards the North-west
by Duke Street, sixty [60] links; towards the North-
east by Section 15 of said block, eighty-six [86] links;
towards the South-east by Section 6 of said block,
sixty-four [64] links; and towards the South-west
by Section 17 of said block, sixty-two [62] links.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Otago, containing by admeasurement six-
teen (16) poles, more or less, being Section 4, Block
XI., Queenstown. Bounded towards the North-west
by Isle Street, one hundred and eighteen (118) links;
towards the North-east by Brecon Street, eighty-five
(85) links; towards the South-east by Section 3
of said block, one hundred and eighteen (118)
links; and towards the South-west by Section 5 of
said block, eighty-five (85) links.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Otago, containing by admeasurement six-
teen (16) poles, more or less, being Section 14, Block
XI., Queenstown. Bounded towards the North-west
by Section 13 of said block, one hundred and twenty
(120) links; towards the North-east by Section 16
of said block, eighty-five (85) links; towards the
South-east by Section 15 of said block, one hundred
and twenty (120) links; and towards the South-west
by Hay Street, eighty-five (85) links.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Otago, containing by admeasurement
nineteen (19) poles, more or less, being Section 3,
Block XII., Queenstown. Bounded towards the
North-west by Section 4 of said block, one hundred
and forty-three (143) links; towards the North-east
by Camp Street, eighty (80) links; towards the
South-east by Section 2 of said block, one hundred
and fifty-seven (157) links; and towards the South-
west by Sections 5 and 14 of said block, eighty-one
(81) links.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Otago, containing by admeasurement
twenty-three (23) poles, more or less, being Section
13, Block XII., Queenstown. Bounded towards the
North-west by Section 6 of said block, eighty-five
(85) links; towards the North-east by Section 14 of
said block, one hundred and seventy (170) links;
towards the South-east by Man Street, eighty-five
[85] links; and towards the South-west by Section
12, one hundred and seventy [170] links.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Otago, containing by admeasurement six-
teen [16] poles, more or less, being Section 11, Block
XIII., Queenstown. Bounded towards the North-
west by Man Street, ninety-four [94] links; towards
the North-east by Section numbered 12 of said block,
one hundred and eight [108] links; towards tho
South-east by Section numbered 10 of said block, one
hundred [100] links; and towards the South-west by
Camp Street, one hundred and one [101] links.
