45, Block IV., Dunedin and East Taieri Survey
District, and required to be taken from William
McRae.
Piece No. 1.—All that piece of land marked piece
number one (1) on annexed plan numbered twenty-
one (21), in Section one (1) of thirty-eight (38),
thirty-nine (39), and two (2) of forty-five (45), Block
four (IV.), Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District,
in the Provincial District of Otago, and Colony of
New Zealand, and containing by admeasurement six
(6) acres one (1) rood and twenty (20) poles, more
or less, with all appurtenances thereto belonging,
being part of Sections one (1) of thirty-eight (38),
thirty-nine (39), and two (2) of forty-five (45), on the
record map of the said district, and bounded as
follows: Commencing at a point on the southern
boundary of Section one (1) of thirty-eight (38)
distant in an easterly direction along said boundary
one thousand four hundred and forty-five (1445)
links from the south-western angle of said Section
one (1) of thirty-eight (38), thence in a northerly
direction and bearing of 7° 46' and running for a
distance of six hundred and four (604) links and
four-tenths (4-10) of a link, thence in a westerly
direction and bearing of 91° 12′ and running for a
distance of three hundred and one (301) links and
two-tenths (2-10) of a link, thence in a north-easterly
direction and bearing of 15° 52′ and running for a
distance of two hundred and twenty-five (225) links
and four-tenths (4-10) of a link, thence in an easterly
direction and bearing of 264° 12′ 30″ and running for

thence in a westerly direction and bearing of 273°
and running for a distance of two hundred and fifty-
six [256] links along said boundary to the point of
commencement; and as the same is delineated on
plan number twenty-one [21] hereunto annexed and
coloured red.
Piece No. 2.—All that piece of land marked piece
No. 2 on annexed plan numbered twenty-one (21),
in Sections thirty-nine (39) and two (2) of forty-five
(45), Block four (IV.), Dunedin and East Taieri
Survey District, in the Provincial District of Otago,
and Colony of New Zealand, and containing by ad-
measurement seven (7) acres twenty-two (22) poles,
more or less, with all appurtenances thereto belong-
ing, being part of Sections thirty-nine (39) and two
(2) of forty-five (45) on the record map of the said
district, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a
point on the northern boundary of said Section thirty-
nine (39) distant in an easterly direction along said
boundary one thousand one hundred and forty-three
(1143) links from a district road being the north-
western angle of said Section thirty-nine (39), thence
in a south-westerly direction and bearing of 29° 28′ 30″
and running for a distance of three hundred and
eighty-one (381) links and three-tenths (3-10) of a
link, thence in a south-westerly direction and bearing
of 69° 55′ 20″ and running for a distance of three
hundred and two (302) links and four-tenths (4-10)
of a link, thence in a southerly direction and bearing
of 175° 45′ 40″ and running for a distance of six
hundred and sixty (660) links and four-tenths (4-10)
