six hundred and fourteen [614] links to the west
boundary of said Section 44, thence in a northerly
direction and running for a distance of eighty-two
[82] links along western boundary of said Section 44
to a district road, thence in a north-easterly direction
and running for a distance of one thousand seven
hundred and fifty [1750] links along said district road
to the point of commencement; and as the same is
delineated on plan No. 3 hereunto annexed and
coloured red.

Description of Land in Section 61, Block VI., Dunedin
and East Taieri District, required to be taken from
John Sibbald.

All that piece of land in Section sixty-one,
Block VI., Dunedin and East Taieri District, in the
Provincial District of Otago, and Colony of New
Zealand, and containing by admeasurement nine (9)
poles and four-tenths (4-10) of a pole, more or less,
with all appurtenances thereto belonging, being part
of Section 61 on the record map of the said district,
and bounded as follows: Commencing at a district
road at the north-east angle of said Section 61,
thence in a southerly direction, and running for a
distance of eighty-two (82) links along the eastern
boundary of said Section 61, thence in a westerly
direction and bearing of 269° 20′ and running for a
distance of one hundred and forty-three (143) links
to a district road, thence in a north-easterly direction
and running for a distance of one hundred and sixty-
five (165) links along said district road to the point
of commencement; and as the same is delineated on
plan No. 3 hereunto annexed and coloured red.

Description of Land in Sections 40 and 42, Block VI.,
Dunedin and East Taieri District, required to be
taken from John Sidey.

No. 1. Piece.—All that piece of land in Section
forty-two, Block VI., Dunedin and East Taieri
District, in the Provincial District of Otago, and
Colony of New Zealand, and containing by admea-
surement seven (7) acres one (1) rood and thirty-
nine (39) poles, more or less, with all appurtenances
thereto belonging, being part of Section 42 on the
record map of the said district, and bounded as
follows: Commencing at a district road at the
eastern angle of said Section 42, thence in a north-
westerly direction and bearing of 132° 52′ and run-
ning for a distance of one thousand eight hundred
and twenty-eight (1828) links and five-tenths (5-10)
of a link, thence in a south-westerly direction and
bearing of 222° 52' and running for a distance of
three hundred and ninety-seven (397) links, thence
in a south-easterly direction and bearing of 132° 52′
and running for a distance of one thousand four hun-
dred and twenty (1420) links, thence in a southerly
direction and bearing of 180° and running for a
distance of three hundred and seventeen (317) links
to a district road, thence in a north-easterly direction
and running for a distance of six hundred and eighty-
four (684) links along the said district road to the
point of commencement; and as the same is de-
lineated on plan No. 3 hereunto annexed and coloured
red.

No. 2 Piece.—All that piece of land in Sections
forty-two (42) and forty (40), Block seven (VII.),
Dunedin and East Taieri District in the Provincial
District of Otago, and Colony of New Zealand, and
containing by admeasurement six (6) acres and
thirteen (13) perches, more or less, with all appur-
tenances thereto belonging, being part of Sections
forty-two (42) and forty (40) on the record map of
the said district, and bounded as follows: Com-
mencing at a point on a district road distant three
hundred and seventy (370) links along said district
road in a north-easterly direction from the eastern
angle of said section 40, thence in a line in a north-
westerly direction and bearing of 114° 40′ and
running for a distance of six hundred and forty-
eight (648) links, thence in a line in a north-westerly
direction and bearing of 140° 22′ 30″ and running for
a distance of two hundred and sixty-one (261) links
and two-tenths (2-10) of a link, thence in a northerly
direction and bearing of 180° 12′ 30″ and running
for a distance of three hundred and twenty-nine
(329) links and seven-tenths (7-10) of a link, thence
in a line in a north-westerly direction and bearing of
150° 56' and running for a distance of one hundred
and sixty-eight (168) links and two tenths (2-10) of
a link, thence in a line in a northerly direction and
bearing of 2° 6' 30" and running for a distance of
one hundred and fifty-four (154) links and nine-
tenths (9-10) of a link, thence in a line in a north-
westerly direction and bearing of 143° 17′ and running
for a distance of three hundred and sixty-one (361)
links and six-tenths (6-10) of a link, thence in a
northerly direction and bearing of 172° 35' and
running for a distance of three hundred and forty-
one (341) links, thence in a line in a north-westerly
direction and bearing of 148° 37' and running for a
distance of two hundred and forty-three (243) links
and one-tenth (1-10) of a link, thence in a line in a
north-westerly direction and bearing of 116° 24' and
running for a distance of one hundred and forty-four
