Sheep Inspector's Notice.

Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 25th October, 1878.

NOTICE has been received from the Inspector of
Sheep for the East Coast District that he has
cancelled the clean certificates of—
Duncan Cameron, Blairlogie, Biscuit Creek flock;
24th September, 1878.
Messrs. Elder and Co., Langdale Run flock; 5th
October, 1878.
And notice has also been received from the In-
spector of Sheep for the Wairarapa District that he
has cancelled the clean certificates of—
William and David Sutherland, Pahana—Dry flock,
21st September, 1878; ewe flock, 8th October,
1878.
Nopera Teki, Mungahina, mixed flock; 4th October,
1878.

Report, New Zealand Company's Commissioner.

I DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed
by virtue of the Ordinance No. 15, Session XI.,
of the Legislative Council of New Zealand, to hear
and decide claims to land by persons claiming title
thereto from, through, or under the New Zealand
Company, report that the claim of John Macfarlane,
formerly of Paisley, in Scotland, having been referred
to me for investigation, I do hereby decide that the
said John Macfarlane is entitled to Crown Grants of
Section No. 179 in the Township of Wanganui, and
Rural Section No. 69 on the left bank of the
Wanganui River. The legal estate to be antevested
therein as from the 16th December, 1841. The
grants to be delivered to the Public Trustee under
the provisions of clause 10 of "The Public Trust
Office Act, 1876."
Dated at Wellington, this 25th day of October,
1878.

NOTICE is hereby given that JACOB MONTEITH,
of Manners Street, in the City of Wellington,
Colony of New Zealand, has applied to register,
under "The Trade Marks Act, 1866," the Trade
Mark of which the following is a description, viz:—

Description of Trade Mark.
A figure consisting of two concentric ovals, bearing
in its centre the words "Medical Hall, Manners
Street," and between the inner and outer ovals the
words "J. Monteith, Wellington."
Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such
Trade Mark shall apply.
