to be a Member of the Licensing Court for the Dis-
trict of Bay of Islands, vice J. Ronaldson, Esq.,
resigned; and

JOHN DICKENSON JACKSON, Esq.,
to be a Member of the Licensing Courts for the Dis-
tricts of Town of Onehunga, Eden, Tamaki, and
Pakuranga, vice J. G. Hutchison, Esq., resigned.

9th instant, vice James Ireland, transferred; and

MARY ELIZABETH MURPHY
to be Matron of the Prison at the Thames.

the Portmaster at Brisbane, is published for
general information.

FREEMAN'S CHANNEL, MORETON BAY.

THERE is now a depth of 10 feet at low-water springs
in Freeman's Channel. On entering, the red buoys
are to be passed at a ship's length on the starboard
hand as usual.

July last.

to be an Emigration Officer under "The Passengers
Act, 1855." This appointment takes effect on and
from the 1st July last.
