SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District
of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement two
thousand one hundred and eighty-five (2,185) acres,
more or less, situated in the Rolleston Survey
District, being Sections numbered two thousand two
hundred (2200), two thousand two hundred and one
(2201), two thousand two hundred and two (2202),
and two thousand two hundred and three (2203) (in
red). Bounded towards the North and North-east
by a road line forty-one (41) chains and six (6)
chains, by Section No. 27994 seventy (70) chains, and
by Section No. 1754 (in red), and a road line two
hundred and thirty (230) chains; towards the South-
east by a road line thirty-four (34) chains; towards
the South by a road line two hundred and seventy-
four (274) chains; and towards the West by Section
No. 27313 forty-one and a half (41½) chains, and ten
(10) chains, and by Sections Nos. 17814 and 17818
thirty-eight and. a half (38½) chains, be all the
aforesaid chainages more or less, subject to roads,
and save and excepting Section numbered one
thousand four hundred and sixty-five (1465) (in red)
situate in Section numbered two thousand two
hundred (2200) (in red), as the same is delineated
on the plans deposited in the Provincial District
Survey Office, Christchurch. As an endowment for
a Girls' High School at Christchurch.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canter-
bury, containing by admeasurement two thousand
eight hundred and fifteen (2,815) acres, more or less,
being Sections numbered two thousand two hundred
and eight (2208), two thousand two hundred and
nine (2209), two thousand two hundred and ten
(2210), and two thousand two hundred and eleven
(2211) (in red), situate in the Selwyn Survey
District. Bounded towards the North-east by a
road line one hundred and forty-four (144) chains
and sixty-two (62) chains, and by Section No. 1765
one hundred and forty (140) chains; towards the
South-east by a road line thirty-seven (37) chains,
by Section No. 1809 forty-five (45) chains, again by
a road line thirty (30) chains and sixty-one (61)
chains, by Improvement Pre-emptive Right A seven
(7) chains and seven (7) chains, and again by a road
line eleven (11) chains; towards the South by
Improvement Pre-emptive Right F twenty-five (25)
chains, by Improvement Pre-emptive Right B four-
teen (14) chains and thirty-seven (37) chains,
and by a road line thirteen (13) chains; and
towards the West by Section No. 26944 one hundred
and two (102) chains and forty (40) chains, and by
a road line seventy-six (76) chains, be all the afore-
said distances more or less, as the same is delineated
on the plans deposited in the Provincial District
Survey Office, Christchurch. As an endowment for a
Girls' High School at Christchurch.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Most Honorable George Augustus Con-
stantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl
of Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and
Baron Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in the
County of York, in the Peerage of the
United Kingdom; and Baron Mulgrave
of New Ross, in the County of Wexford,
in the Peerage of Ireland; a Member of
Her Majesty's Most Honorable Privy
Council; Knight Grand Cross of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George; Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and
Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued
under the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this

sixteenth day of August, in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-seven.

Setting apart Lands in Otago for Agricultural Leases.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the thirty-third section of "The
Gold Fields Act, 1866," it is, amongst other
things, enacted that it shall be lawful for the Gover-
nor to cause Crown Lands situate within a gold field
to be selected and set apart for the purpose of
granting agricultural leases thereon and therefor :
And whereas the lands described in the Schedule
hereto are Crown lands subject to be dealt with
under the provisions of the said thirty-third section
of "The Gold Fields Act, 1866," and it is deemed
expedient to set the same apart for the purpose of
granting agricultural leases thereon and therefor:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby select and set apart for the
purpose of granting agricultural leases thereon and
therefor, the lands described in the Schedule hereto,
and do fix the twenty-fifth day of September next
ensuing, as the day on which the said land shall be
open for application.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land in the Provincial District of
Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by
admeasurement two thousand five hundred (2,500)
acres, more or less, situated in the Maniototo Survey
District, being part of Run No. 206A, comprising
portion of Blocks numbered seven (7), eight (8),
three (3), and four (4), on the map of the said survey
district. Bounded by a line commencing at a point
one thousand four hundred (1400) links west of
Trigonometrical Station D, Maniototo Survey Dis-
trict; thence due East through Trigonometrical
Station D, twelve thousand one hundred (12100)
links; thence due South ten thousand (10000) links;
thence due East twelve thousand three hundred and
twenty-eight (12328) links; thence in a northerly
direction by a line bearing 171° 52′ two thousand and
fifty-one (2051) links; thence by a line bearing
337° 13′ one thousand nine hundred and sixty-seven
(1967) links; thence by a line bearing 160° 57′ four-
teen thousand one hundred and twenty-five (14125)
links; thence due West sixteen thousand nine
hundred and forty-four (16944) links; thence in a
southerly direction by a line bearing 14° 13′ seven
thousand four hundred and twenty-three (7423) links
to the starting point.
