and Maraea Kake in the land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and remain vested in
ATEREA TE ARAHI,
as Trustee within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Pirini Kake, Rewi Kake,
Keremeneta Kake, Hemi Kake, Rehi Kake, and
Maraea Kake, during their minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land at Whangarei, in the
District of Whangarei, in the Provincial District of
Auckland, and called or known by the name of Te
Rewarewa, containing by admeasurement two hun-
dred and eighty-four acres, be the same more or less,
bounded towards the North-east by a line from Puke-
atua to Te Toko, 4348 links, and by a line thence to
Te Wiwi, 858 links; towards the South-east by a line
from Te Wiwi to Whangarei Harbour, 649 links,
and by the said harbour to Te Rewarewa; towards
the South-west by a line, 4160 links; and towards
the West and North-west by lines to the com-
mencing point, 1760 links, 1230 links, and 2680
links.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
sixteenth day of January, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
W HEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted, that if any
title to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue
to any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or
interest therein as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas, by virtue of a certificate of title
bearing date the fifth day of December, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-five, the parcel of land and
hereditaments described in the Schedule hereto
became vested in Kake Peru and others, of the
District of Whangarei, in the Province of Auckland,
oboriginal natives of New Zealand:
And whereas the said Kake Peru died intestate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land Court
held at Whangarei, in the province aforesaid, on the
twenty-first day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-six, Pirini Kake Peru claimed
to succeed to the said Kake Peru in the parcel of
land described in the said Schedule:
And it was ordered by the said Court that, Pirini
Kake, Rewi Kake, Keremeneta Kake, Hemi Kake,
Rehi Kake, and Maraea Kake, infants under the age
of twenty-one years, should succeed to the interest
of the said Kake Peru in the hereditaments aforesaid:
And it is expedient that Aterea te Arahi be ap-
pointed trustee under the said Act, on behalf of the
said Pirini Kake, Rewi Kake, Keremeneta Kake,
Hemi Kake, Rehi Kake and Maraea Kake:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the said Act, doth hereby order that the
interests and shares of the said Pirini Kake, Rewi
Kake, Keremeneta Kake, Hemi Kake, Rehi Kake,
and Maraea Kake in the land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and remain vested in
ATEREA TE ARAHI,
as Trustee within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Pirini Kake, Rewi Kake,
Keremeneta Kake, Hemi Kake, Rehi Kake, and
Maraea Kake during their minority.
SCHEDULE.

rama, in the District of Whangarei, in the Provincial
District of Auckland, and called or known by the
name of Whitingaramarama, containing by admea-
surement fifty-six acres, be the same more or less,
bounded towards the North-east, East, and South-east
by lines from Mangakino Stream to the same stream,
434 links, 2533 links, 458 links, 745 links, and 658
links; and on all other sides by the said stream.
