Executive Council of the Colony, in exercise and in as Trustee within the meaning and for the purposes
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him of the said Act for the said Mereana Himi Peru
by the said Act, doth hereby order that the interest during her minority.
and share of the said Taea in the land described in
the Schedule hereto shall be and remain vested in
HONE RAUTAHI,
REIHANA WAHAPAUKENA, and
HENI TAMINGAHUKA,
as Trustees within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Taea during her minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land at Ahuriri, in the Dis-
trict of Ahuriri, in the Provincial District of Hawke's
Bay, and called or known by the name of Te Whareate-
puru, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, be the
same more or less, bounded towards the North-east
by the Pukehou Block, 1385 links; towards the
South-east by a line 1500 links; towards the South-
west by a line 280 links; and towards the West by a
line 1200 links.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
sixteenth day of January, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted, that if any
title to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue
to any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or in-
terest therein as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think
fit:
And whereas, by virtue of a certificate of title
bearing date the fifth day of December, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-five, the parcel of land and
hereditaments described in the Schedule hereto
became vested in Hemi Peru and others, of the
District of Whangarei, in the Province of Auckland,
aboriginal natives of New Zealand;
And whereas the said Hemi Peru died intestate:
And whereas, at a sitting of the Native Land Court
held at Whangarei, in the province aforesaid, on the
twenty-first day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-six, Mereana Hemi Peru claimed
to succeed to the said Hemi Peru in the parcel of
land described in the said Schedule, and it was ordered
by the said Court that Mereana Himi Peru, an infant
under the age of twenty-one years, should succeed
to the interest of the said Hemi Peru in the here-
ditaments aforesaid:
And it is expedient that Aterea te Arahi be ap-
pointed trustee under the said Act on behalf of the
said Mereana Himi Peru:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the said Act, doth hereby order that the
interest and share of the said Mereana Himi Peru in
the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be
and remain vested in
ATEREA TE ARAHI,
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece or parcel of land at Whangarei, in the
District of Whangarei, in the Provincial District of
Auckland, and called or known by the name of Te
Rewarewa, containing by admeasurement two hun-
dred and eighty-four acres, be the same more or less,
bounded towards the North-east by a line from Puke-
atuato Te Toko, 4348 links, and by a line thence
to Te Wiwi, 858 links; towards the South-east by a
line from Te Wiwi to Whangarei Harbour, 649 links,
and by the said harbour to Te Rewarewa; towards
the South-west by a line 4160 links; and towards
the West and North-west by lines to the commencing
point 1760 links, 1230 links, and 2680 links.

Rehi Kake, and Maraea Kake, infants under the age
of twenty-one years, should succeed to the interest
of the said Kake Peru in the hereditaments afore-
said:
And it is expedient that Aterea te Arahi be ap-
pointed trustee under the said Act on behalf of the
said Pirini Kake, Rewi Kake, Keremeneta Kake,
Hemi Kake, Rehi Kake, and Maraea Kake:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
