Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the said Act, doth hereby order that the
interest and share of the said Rarati Hinerangia in the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
remain vested in the said

REKO MANGAONUKU,

as Trustee within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Rarati Hinerangia during
her minority.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land at Te Kopua, in the
District of Ahuriri, in the Provincial District of
Hawke's Bay, and called or known by the name of
Te Kopua, containing by admeasurement 93 acres,
be the same more or less, bounded towards the
North by lines 450 links, 1555 links, 960 links, 440
links, 675 links, 300 links, 140 links, 600 links, and
400 links; towards the South-east by lines 550 links,
200 links, 600 links, 85 links, 530 links, 95 links,
550 links, 100 links, 800 links, 190 links, 155 links;
towards the South-west by lines 700 links, 373
links, 450 links, 140 links, 204 links, 1282 links, and
453 links; and towards the West by a line 1333
links.

Appointing Paurini te Whiti and Pane Trustees under
"The Maori Real Estate Management Act, 1867."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
sixteenth day of January, 1877.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867,"
it is enacted that if any
title to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue
to any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or
interest therein as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of a certificate of title
bearing date the second day of October, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-seven, the parcel of land and
hereditaments described in the Schedule hereto became
vested in Paora Pahi and others, of the District of
Ahuriri, in the Province of Hawke's Bay, aboriginal
natives of New Zealand:
And whereas the said Paora Pahi died intestate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land
Court, held at Napier, in the province aforesaid, on
the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-six, Paora Pahi claimed to
succeed to the said Paora Pahi in the parcel of land
described in the said Schedule:
And it was ordered by the said Court that Paora
Pahi, Wiremina, Karu, Ngamoa, and Haromi, infants
under the age of twenty-one years, should succeed to
the interest and share of the said Paora Pahi in
the hereditaments aforesaid:
And it is expedient that Paurini te Whiti and Pane
be appointed trustees under the said Act on behalf
of the said Paora Pahi, Wiremina, Karu, Ngamoa,
and Haromi:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of

and shares of the said Paora Pahi, Wiremina, Karu,

PANE,

as Trustees within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Paora Pahi, Wiremina,
Karu, Ngamoa, and Haromi, during their minority.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land at Pukehou, in the
District of Ahuriri, in the Provincial District of
Hawke's Bay, and called or known by the name of
Pukehou, containing by admeasurement seven hun-
dred and thirty acres, be the same more or less,
bounded towards the North-west by the East Rau-
kawa Block, 3140 links and 7730 links; towards the
North-east by lines 4200 links and 3460 links; to-
wards the South-east by lines 2880 links and 4873
links; and towards the South-west by a line 8150
links.

hundred and seventy-six, Hiha Ngarangioue claimed
to succeed to the said Pera Ngarangioue in the
parcel of land described in the said Schedule:
And it was ordered by the said Court that Hiha
Ngarangioue, an infant under the age of twenty-one
years, should succeed to the interest and share of the
said Pera Ngarangioue in the hereditaments afore-
said:
And it is expedient that Te Awapuni be appointed
trustee under the said Act, on behalf of the said
Hiha Ngarangioue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
