And it was ordered by the said Court that Paora
Kurupo, Porokoru Mapu, Okeroa, Keita, and Rawiri
Tareahi, infants under the age of twenty-one years,
should succeed to the interest of the said Hara in
the hereditaments aforesaid:
And it is expedient that Te Awapuni be appointed
trustee under the said Act on behalf of the said
Paora Kurupo, Porokoru Mapu, Okeroa, Keita, and
Rawiri Tareahi:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the said Act, doth hereby order that the interests
and shares of the said Paora Kurupo, Porakoru
Mapu, Okeroa, Keita, and Rawiri Tareahi, in the land
described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and re-
main vested in
TE AWAPUNI,
as Trustee within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Paora Kurupo, Porokoru
Mapu, Okeroa, Keita, and Rawiri Tareahi, during
their minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land at Moteo, near Napier, in the
District of Napier, in the Provincial District of
Hawke's Bay, and called or known by the name of
Tuhirangi, containing about 1,200 acres, bounded
towards the North by the Tutaekuri River; towards
the East by the Moteo Block; towards the West by
the Okawa Block; and towards the South by Native
land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
sixteenth day of January, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted that if any title
to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue to
any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or
interest therein as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or
other person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of a certificate of title
bearing date the second day of September, one thou-
sand eight hundred and sixty-eight, the parcel of
land and hereditaments described in the Schedule
hereto became vested in Tanira Puku and others, of
the District of Ahuriri, in the Province of Hawke's
Bay, aboriginal natives of New Zealand:
And whereas the said Tanira Puku died intestate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land
Court, held at Waipawa, in the province aforesaid,
on the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-six, Reko Mangaonuku claimed
to succeed to the said Tanira Puku in the parcel of
land described in the said Schedule:
And it was ordered by the said Court that Rarati
Hinerangia, an infant under the age of twenty-one
years, should succeed to the interest and share of the
said Tanira Puku in the hereditaments aforesaid:
And it is expedient that Reko Mangaonuku be ap-
pointed trustee under the said Act, on behalf of the
said Rarati Hinerangia:
And it is expedient that Reko Mangaonuku be ap-
pointed trustee under the said Act on behalf of the
said Rarati Hinerangia:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the said Act, doth hereby order that the interest
and share of the said Rarati Hinerangia in the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
remain vested in the said
REKO MANGAONUKU,
as Trustee within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Rarati Hinerangia
during her minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land at Waiongaharakeke,
in the District of Ahuriri, in the Provincial District
of Hawke's Bay, and called or known by the name
of Te Waiongaharakeke, containing by admeasure-
ment 71 acres, be the same more or less, bounded
towards the East by lines 660 links and 430 links,
and the Paeroa Block 1520 links and 785 links;
towards the North-east by the Paeroa Block afore-
said, 1560 links; towards the South-east by the Ra-
kauomokai Block, 482 links and 200 links; towards
the South-west by the Pakipakiorangi Stream; to-
wards the West by lines 1120 links and 1170 links;
and towards the North-west by lines 200 links and
2290 links.
