interest and share of the said Taea in the land

REIHANA WAHAPAUKENA, and

as Trustees within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Taea during her
minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land at Ohikakarewa, in
the District of Ahuriri, in the Provincial District of
Hawke's Bay, and called or known by the name of
Ohikokarowa, containing by admeasurement 1520
acres, be the same more or less, bounded towards the
North-west by the Waitio River; towards the North
and East by the Opou River, by the Awahou River,
and by the Tutae Kuri Waimate River; towards
the South-east by the Ngaruroro River; and to-
wards the South and South-west by the Ohiwia
River, and by the Heretaunga Block, 9520 links.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
sixteenth day of January, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted that if any
title to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue
to any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or
interest therein as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of a certificate of title
bearing date the seventeenth day of June, one thou-
sand eight hundred and sixty-seven, the parcel of land
and hereditaments described in the Schedule hereto
became vested in Enoka Rua and others, of the Dis-
trict of Ahuriri, in the Province of Hawke's Bay,
aboriginal natives of New Zealand:
And whereas the said Enoka Rua died intestate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land
Court, held at Waipawa, in the province aforesaid,
on the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-six, Hira te Rauparaha claimed
to succeed to the said Enoka Rua (otherwise known
as Enoka te Rua) in the parcel of land described in
the said Schedule:
And it was ordered by the said Court that Hira
te Rauparaha and Atareta Mangumangu, adults, and
Irikera, Paora Heru, Nere Hira, and Erueti Ngamua
Hira, infants under the age of twenty-one years,
should succeed to the interest and share of the said
Enoka Rua in the hereditaments aforesaid:
And it is expedient that Hira te Rauparaha and
Atareta Mangumangu be appointed trustees under
the said Act on behalf of the said Irikera, Paora
Heru, Nere Hira, and Erueti Ngamua Hira:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the said Act, doth hereby order that the in-
terests and shares of the said Irikera, Paora Heru,
Nere Hira, and Erueti Ngamua Hira, in the land
described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and remain
vested in
HIRA TE RAUPARAHA and
ATARETA MANGUMANGU,
as Trustees within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Irikera, Paora Heru,
Nere Hira, and Erueti Ngamua Hira, during their
minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land at Kaokaoroa, in
the District of Ahuriri, in the Provincial District
of Hawke's Bay, and called or known by the name
of Kaokaoroa, containing by admeasurement 4132
acres, be the same more or less, bounded towards
the North-east by the Pukahu Block, 14330 links;
towards the East by the track from Havelock to
Napier; thence towards the South by a line 1850
links to Tapuai Otarea; again towards the East by
the Waikaha Stream and Te Wai o hine Rakau
Stream, and by lines 1150 links, 1518 links, and
8680 links; towards the South by the Paramahongi
Stream and by the Tautitaha Block, 6250 links; and
towards the West by Te Mahanga Block 6190 links,
3380 links, 5750 links, 17750 links, 13640 links, and
4180 links, by Te Poukawa Stream, and by lines 1700
links, 1350 links, 925 links, 1860 links, and 2890
links to the commencing point at Locker's Mound
at Te Weturaririki.

ginal natives of New Zealand, to the parcel of land
and hereditaments described in the Schedule hereto
should be made and issued to the Governor, when a
plan is produced to the satisfaction of the Chief
Judge of the said Court:
And whereas the said Hara died intestate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land
Court, held at Napier, in the province aforesaid, on
the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand eight hun-
dred and seventy-six, Te Awapuni claimed to succeed
to the said Hara (otherwise known as Hara te Oki-
raukawa) in the parcel of land described in the said
Schedule:
