"The Gold Fields Act, 1866."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of June, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by four several Orders in Council
dated the sixteenth of November, one thou-
sand eight hundred and seventy-six, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette of the same date, His
Excellency the Governor delegated unto the per-
sons whose names are set out in the Schedule
hereto certain powers vested in him by "The
Gold Fields Act, 1866," to be performed and exer-
cised by such persons respectively within the re-
spective provincial districts set opposite the names
of each person respectively in such Schedule: And
whereas it is expedient to revoke such delegations:
Now, therefore, His Excellency George Augustus
Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony,
and in exercise of every power and authority him
thereunto enabling, doth hereby revoke the said
Orders in Council and the delegations so made as
aforesaid.

Revoking delegation under "The Constabulary Force
Ordinance Amendment Act, 1868," to the Hon.
James Alexander Bonar.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of June, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in
me by "The Constabulary Force Ordinance
Amendment Act, 1868," and of every other power
and authority me thereunto enabling, I, George
Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, Go-
vernor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, do hereby revoke the delegation made in
favour of the Hon. James Alexander Bonar
of the powers conferred on or vested in the Governor
by virtue of the Ordinance intituled "An Ordinance
to provide for the Establishment and Maintenance
of a Constabulary Force," and which delegation was
made by Order in Council dated the 16th day of
November, 1876, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette of the same date.

Act, 1873," to the Hon. Frederick Whitaker.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of June, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in
me by "The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1873,"
and of every other power and authority in that
behalf me thereunto enabling, I, George Augustus
Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council thereof, do hereby
revoke the delegation in favour of the Hon. Fred-
erick Whitaker of certain powers vested in the
Governor by the said Act, and which delegation was
made by Order in Council bearing date the twelfth
of December, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-six, and is published in the New Zealand
Gazette of the fourteenth of December in the same
year.

"The Lunatics Act, 1868."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of June, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by seven several Orders in Council,
made the 16th day of November, 1876, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same
date, His Excellency the Governor did order and
direct that all the powers, functions, duties, and
authorities vested in or required to be performed by
the Governor or the Colonial Secretary by "The
Lunatics Act, 1868" (excepting such as are
therein referred to), should be exercised by the
several persons named in the Schedule hereto within
the provincial districts set opposite the name of
each respectively: And whereas it is expedient to
revoke the said Orders in Council: Now, therefore,
His Excellency George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said colony, and in pur-
suance and exercise of every power and authority
him thereunto enabling, doth hereby revoke the said
Orders in Council, and the powers, functions, duties,
and authorities thereby granted and conferred.
