WHEREAS HENARE WINIATA, an aboriginal
native, is charged on warrant with having, on
the 27th of January, 1876, at Epsom, in the Province
of Auckland, murdered one Edwin Packer, this is to
notify that a Reward of FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS
will be paid by the Government of the colony for
such information as shall lead to the apprehension
and conviction of the said offender.
