UNIVERSAL GOLD MINING COMPANY (LIMITED),
ARROW RIVER.

A T an Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders in
the above Company, called in accordance with
the provisions of an Act for the incorporation and
winding up of Mining Companies, cited as "The
Mining Companies Act, 1872," and sections number-
ing 44, 45, and 46 of the said Act, and held on May
20th, 1876, in the Company's office, Buckingham
Street, Arrowtown, it was resolved by two-thirds in
number and value to increase the capital of the Com-
pany by the issue of new shares.

INCREASE OF CAPITAL.

I, the undersigned, Manager, hereby give notice,
that an increase in the capital of the above-named
Company was on the 20th day of May, 1876, resolved
on. The mode adopted for the increase is by raising
the amount of each of the existing shares in the
Company from fifty pounds (£50) to one hundred
(£100). Number of shares at present held on which
11s. is paid upon is 2,000; number of new shares
unallotted is 400, at £1 each: total number of
shares is 2,400, at £1 each.
