Locke Travers, Esq., three of the members of the said
Board of Governors, have retired from office, and
are eligible for reappointment under the provisions
of the said Act:
And whereas by the said Act it is also provided
that, on the annual retirement of the said three mem-
bers, the successors of such retiring members shall
be appointed by the Governor:
Now therefore, I, Sir James Fergusson, Baronet,
the Governor of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the power and authority in that behalf
vested in me by the said Act, do hereby reappoint

WILLIAM THOMAS LOCKE TRAVERS, Esq.,
to be Governors of the Institution called the New
Zealand Institute.

"The Public Health Act, 1872," His Excellency
the Governor has been pleased to appoint the under-
mentioned gentleman to be a Public Vaccinator to
perform gratuitous vaccination in accordance with
the provisions of the said Act, and any regulations
made or to be made thereunder, for the District men-
tioned in the Schedule hereto, and set opposite his
name.
