that places should be appointed for the performance of vaccination, and that notice of the days and hours
at which the Public Vaccinator will attend for the purposes aforesaid should be given :

Now therefore, I, Sir James Fergusson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers vested in me by the hereinbefore in part recited Act, do hereby appoint the several
places mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto as and to be places at which Public Vaccina-
tors appointed for the respective districts mentioned in the first column of the said Schedule shall attend
for the performance of vaccination, as required by the said Act; and I do hereby give notice that each such
Public Vaccinator will attend at the respective places aforesaid, for the purpose of performing such vaccina-
tion, on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said Schedule opposite the name of
each such place; and further, that at each such place as last aforesaid the Public Vaccinator will attend
for the purpose of inspecting the progress of such vaccination in the persons so vaccinated on the days and
at the hours respectively set forth in the fourth column of the said Schedule opposite the name of each
such place.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honorable Sir James Fergusson,
Baronet, a Member of Her Majesty's Most Honorable Privy Council, Governor
and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and
its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, at Auckland; and issued this
thirteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-four.

Governors of Nelson College appointed.

JAMES FERGUSSON, Governor.

WHEREAS by "The Nelson College Act, 1870,"
it is enacted that six of the Governors of the
said College shall be deemed to represent the Pro-
vince of Nelson, and shall be from time to time
appointed as vacancies shall occur, by the Visitor,
and the remaining three Governors shall be deemed
to represent the Province of Marlborough, and shall
be appointed in like manner: And by the said Act
it is further enacted, that any retiring Governor may
continue to hold office until his successor is appointed,
and may be reappointed: And whereas in pursuance
of the provisions of the Deed of Foundation of the
Nelson College, as set forth in the Schedule to "The
Nelson College Act, 1858," and of the hereinbefore
in part recited Act, Alexander Sclanders, Esq.,
representing the Province of Marlborough, William
Charles Hodgson, Esq., and Nathaniel Edwards, Esq.,
respectively representing the Province of Nelson,
retired from office as Governors of the said College,
on the fourteenth day of November, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-three, and no successors
to them have been appointed: And whereas the
said Alexander Sclanders is not desirous of being
reappointed, and Andrew James Richmond, of Nelson,
in the Province of Nelson, Esquire, hath consented to
be appointed and act as a Governor of the said
College as hereinafter provided: And whereas it is
expedient that the said Andrew James Richmond,
William Charles Hodgson, and Nathaniel Edwards
should be appointed to be Governors of the said
College as hereinafter mentioned:

Now therefore, I, Sir James Fergusson, Baronet,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies for the time being, as the Visitor of
the said College, and in pursuance and exercise of
the power vested in me as such Visitor by the herein-
before in part recited Act, do hereby appoint the
said

ANDREW JAMES RICHMOND,
WILLIAM CHARLES HODGSON, and
NATHANIEL EDWARDS,
to be Governors of the said Nelson College, the said
Andrew James Richmond to represent the Province
of Marlborough, and the said William Charles
Hodgson and Nathaniel Edwards to represent the
Province of Nelson.

Governors of New Zealand Institute reappointed.

JAMES FERGUSSON, Governor.

WHEREAS by "The New Zealand Institute Act,
1867," provision is made for the appointment
of members of a Board of Governors of the New
Zealand Institute, and it is enacted that on the first
day of November, one thousand eight hundred and
sixty-eight, and on the first day of November in each
succeeding year, three members of the said Board of
Governors (other than the Governor, the Colonial
Secretary, and the Superintendent of the Province
of Wellington, respectively, for the time being,)
shall retire from office, but shall be eligible for re-
appointment: And whereas Sir David Monro, the
Hon. Edward William Stafford, and William Thomas
