Fields.
186. HYDE DISTRICT.
Bounded on the West by the. Teviot District;
on the North-west by the Teviot and Naseby Dis-
tricts; on the East by the Taieri River to the
junction of the Sutton Stream therewith; and on the
South by the Sutton Stream to its source in the
Lammerlaw Ranges, thence by an imaginary line run-
ning due west to the Lammerlaw Mountain, on the
boundary of the Teviot District.
187. TEVIOT DISTRICT.
Bounded on the North by the Alexandra District;
on the East by a line from South Rough Ridge Hill
along the boundary of the Mount Benger Gold Field
to Lammerlaw, thence to the head waters of the Taller
Burn; on the South by the said burn to the Clutha;
on the West by the Clutha River to a point opposite
Spylaw, thence by a line due west to Spylaw and along
the Spylaw Burn to the junction of the Pommehawk,
thence by the Pommehawk River to a point opposite
Whitecomb, thence by a line to Whitecomb, thence by
the Whitecomb Creek to the Waikia, thence by a line
to the Titan Rocks, thence to the Remarkable Gap,
thence to Rocky Mount, and thence to the Obelisk.
188. ALEXANDRA DISTRICT.
Bounded on the West by the Clyde District; on
the North by the Clyde District and the road leading
to Dunedin across the Rock and Pillar to a point
where it crosses the Raggedy Range; on the North-
east by an imaginary line from said point to South
Rough Ridge Hill; on the South by an imaginary
line from South Rough Ridge Hill due west to Cairn
Hill, and hence to Obelisk.
189. CLYDE DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North by an imaginary line
from Ben Nevis on the Hector Mountains due east
to the Carrick Range, thence to Cairn Muir Hill,
thence to the Clutha River; on the North-west by
the Leaning Rock Creek, and from the head waters
thereof to the Leaning Rock; on the North-east by
a line from Leaning Rock to the head waters of the
Chatto Creek; on the East by Chatto Creek and
Manuherikia River to the Dunedin Road leading
across to the Rock and Pillar; on the South by an
imaginary line from said road due west to the Clutha
River, and thence to McLellan's Gully, thence by a
line due south to the obelisk, and thence by a line due
west to the Lorn Peak on the Hector Mountains,
thence along the Hector Mountains to Ben Nevis, the
starting point. Excepting the Town of Clyde District,
herein next defined.
190. TOWN OF CLYDE DISTRICT...
Bounded by a line proceeding from the north-west
corner of Section numbered 1, Block I.; leaving Rock
Survey District in a south-easterly direction along
the boundary of the said Block I.; leaving Rock
Survey District 12848 links, thence in a south-
westerly direction along the boundary line of the said
Block I.; leaving Rock Survey District to the Clutha
River, thence in a north-westerly direction along the
bank of the Clutha River to a point bearing 227
degrees from the north-west corner of Section
numbered 1, Block I.; leaving Rock Survey District
aforesaid, and thence in a direct line to the starting
point.
191. SWITZERS DISTRICT.
Bounded on the North-west by the Queenstown
District; on the North by the Clyde District; on
the East by the Teviot District; and on the South
192. LAWRENCE DISTRICT.
Bounded on the North by the Teviot District; on
the North-east by the Hindon District; on the
South-east by the Outram and the Waipori Districts
to the Tokomariro River; thence along the north-
western boundary of the North Tokomairiro Hundred
to Lovell's Creek; on the South-west by Lovell's
Creek to Mount Stuart, thence by an imaginary
line running north-west to the Waitahuna River;
and thence in same direction to Crook Burn; on the
South by the Crook Burn to its junction with the
Clutha River; on the West by the River Clutha to
the junction of the Black Clough Burn therewith,
thence by the Black Clough Burn to the summit on
the Tapanui Range, thence by an imaginary line
along the watershed of said range to Spylaw Hill, on
the boundary of the Teviot District. Excepting the
Town of Lawrence District herein next defined.
193. TOWN OF LAWRENCE DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North by Crown lands, 7431
links; towards the East by Crown lands, 6913 links;
towards the South by Crown lands, 5945 links, also
500 links; towards the South-west by Crown lands,
4000 links, also 2000 links; and towards the North-
west by Crown lands, 500 links, also 3670 links, and
intersected by the Tuapeka and Weatherston Creeks,
all of which said lands are contained within and
known as the Township of Lawrence, and are more
particularly delineated on the record map of the said
township deposited at the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Dunedin.
194. HINDON DISTRICT.
Bounded on the North by the Hyde and Macraes
Districts; on the North-east and East by the Taieri
River from the junction of the Sutton Stream there-
with, to the junction of the Lees Stream therewith;
thence along that last named stream to its most
southerly source; thence by a right line to the
summit of the nearest peak of the Lammerlaw
Ranges; thence along those ranges to the Lammerlaw
Mountain in the boundary of the Teviot District.
195. TAIERI DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North-west by the Taieri
River; towards the North-east by the North Taieri
District; towards the South-east by the Main South
Road; and towards the West by Greytown and
Taieri River.
196. NORTH TAIERI DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North by the boundary of
hundreds; towards the East and South-east by
Half-way Bush and Kaikorai Districts; towards the
South-west by the Saddle Hill and West Taieri
Road; towards the West by the Taieri River and
the continuation through the Bush Reserve of the
division lines between Sections 11 and 16, Block I.,
Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, and by
Sections 11, 12, 14, and 26, said Block I., Section 57,
irregular Block Sections 10 and 4, Block XVI., and
Section 10, Block XI., Taieri Survey District.
197. HALF-WAY BUSH DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North by the boundary of
Hundreds and Block III., North Harbour and Blue-
skin Survey District; towards the East by the Water
of Leith; towards the South by the Roslyn and
Kaikorai Districts; and towards the West by the
western boundary of Block IV., Dunedin and East
Taieri District.
