  1. TOWN OF QUEENSTOWN DISTRICT.
    Bounded, towards the North-west by Crown lands
    3120 links, by Cemetery Reserve 2110 links, also by
    Crown lands 1930 links; towards the North-east by
    Crown lands, 4920 links; towards the South-east by
    Crown lands, 1700 links; towards the South by
    Lake Wakatipu. 1500 links, be the same more or
    less; and towards the South-west by Crown lands,
    1100 links.

  2. ARROW DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the East by the Cromwell District;
    on the South by the Clyde District on the North-west
    by an imaginary line from Ben Nevis on the
    Hector Mountains to the junction of the Shotover
    River with the Kawarau River, thence along the
    Shotover, to the bridge at Foster's Ferry, thence due
    north to the Coronet Peak on the Harris Mountains,
    and thence to Mount Hyde and the boundary of the
    Cardrona District; and on the Northeast by the
    Cardrona District.

  3. CROMWELL DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the South by the Clyde District; on
    the West by the Carrick Range to Kawarau River,
    thence by the Kirtle Burn to Queensberry Hill; on
    the North-west by an imaginary line from said hill to
    the head waters of Luggatt Creek, thence by said
    Creek to Clutha River in a north-easterly direction
    to Trig Hill, thence in the same direction to the
    Lindis Burn, thence by the Lindis Pass, thence by the
    Long-slip Creek to the boundary of the Otago Gold
    Fields; on the East by a line along the boundary
    of the Otago Gold Fields to Mount St. Bathans,
    thence along the Dunstan Range to the head waters
    of the Lauder Creek, and thence by the Blacks Dis-
    trict, excepting the Town of Cromwell District herein
    next defined.

  4. TOWN OF CROMWELL DISTRICT.
    Bounded towards the North by a line commencing
    on the west bank of the Clutha River and proceeding
    in a westerly direction, with a magnetic bearing of
    269Β°25' to the north-east corner of Cemetery Reserve,
    4100 links; thence along a line in the same direction,
    7100 links; thence by a line at a right angle in a
    southerly direction, 6940 links; thence by a line at a
    right angle in an easterly direction to the Kawarau
    River, 4900 links; thence along the Kawarau and
    Clutha Rivers to the starting point, as delineated on
    the record map of the said town deposited in the
    Survey Office at Dunedin.

  5. BLACKS DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the South and West by the Alexandra
    and Clyde Districts; on the North-west by the Dun-
    stan Range to the head waters of the Lauder Creek;
    on the North-east by the Lauder Creek to its junc-
    tion with the Manuherikia River, thence by the Manu-
    herikia River to the Pool Burn junction, thence by
    the Pool Burn to its junction with the Ida Burn,
    thence by a line from said junction in a south-east
    direction to Rough Ridge, and thence along the Rough
    Ridge to South Ridge Hill.

  6. ST. BATHAN'S DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the West by the Blacks District; on
    the North-west by the Cromwell District; on the
    North by an imaginary due east line from Mount
    St. Bathan's to the Hawkden Mountains; and on the
    North-east by the watershed of the Hawkden
    Mountains to Mount Ida; and on the South-east by
    an imaginary line from Mount Ida along the water-
    shed of the Rough Ridge to the boundary of the
    Blacks District.

  7. NASEBY DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the West and North-west by the Blacks
    and St. Bathan's Districts; on the North by an
    imaginary line from Mount Ida due east to Kyeburn
    Hill; on the East by an imaginary line from Kyeburn
    Hill running south across the Maeriwhenua Pass to
    Kakanui Mountains, and hence south-east along the
    watershed of those mountains to the Kakanui Peak;
    on the South-east by an imaginary line from Ka-
    kannui Pass south-westerly to the Taieri River; thence
    to the hill known as Flat Cap, and thence to the
    South Rough Ridge Hill, on the boundary of the
    Blacks District.

  8. OTEPOPO DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North-east and North by the
    Kakanui District. on the North-west, by the Maere-
    whenua District; on the South-west by the north-
    eastern boundary of the Macraes District from the
    Kakanui Peak to Mount Fortune; thence on the
    South by a right line to the southernmost source of
    the Waianakarua River, by the southern branch of the
    said river to the sea; and on the East by the sea to
    north of the Kakanui River.

  9. HAMPDEN DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North and North-west by the
    Otepopo District; on the South-west by the water-
    shed of the Horse Range from Mount Fortune to the
    Kartigi Beach; and on the South-east and East by
    the sea to the mouth of the Waianakarua River.

  10. PALMERSTON DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North-east by the Hampden
    District; on the West by the Macraes District from
    Mount Fortune to the Silver Peak Hills; on the
    South-east by a line drawn from the summit of the
    north-west point of the Silver Peak Hills to Mount
    Trotter, thence by Trotter Creek to Mount Royal,
    thence by Stony Creek to the sea; and on the East
    by the sea to the Kartigi Beach.

  11. HAWKSBURY DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North-west by the Palmerston
    District from Stony Creek to the Silver Peak Hills;
    thence by the south-eastern boundary of the Macraes
    District to the junction of the Sutton Stream and
    the Taieri River; towards the South west by the
    Taieri River; towards the South by the North Taieri
    and Blueskin Districts to the sea; and towards the
    East by the sea from the Waihema Creek to the
    Stony Creek. Excepting the Town of West Hawks-
    bury District herein next defined.

  12. TOWN OF WEST HAWKSBURY DISTRICT.
    Bounded towards the North by the Main North
    Road, 4100 links; towards the East by the Govern-
    ment Township, of Hawksbury, 8000 links; towards
    the South by land sold to John Jones, 2000 links;
    and towards the West by the other part of Section 15,
    Block VI., Hawksbury District aforesaid, 7500 links;
    be all the said linkages more or less, as the same is
    delineated in the map of the said Township of West
    Hawksbury, deposited in the office of the Registrar
    of Deeds at Dunedin.

  13. MACRAES DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the West by the Hyde District; on
    the North-west by the Naseby District; on the
    North-east by the boundary line of the Otago Gold
    Fields along the Kakanui Range to Mount Fortune;
    on the East by the said boundary line of the Otago
    Gold Fields to the north-west point of the Silver Peak
    Hills, said point being due west of Watkins' Hill;
    and on the South by an imaginary line running due
    west from said point on the Silver Peak Hills to
    Mount Stoker, and thence to the junction of the
