THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Municipal Reserve; thence by Domett Street, 155°
53', 625 links, 125 links, 3075 links, 125 links, and
7815 links; on the Southward partly by Daniell Street,
245° 53', 3800 links, 125 links, and 1100 links,
partly by a continuation of Palmerston Street, 155° 53′,
500 links, and partly by a line between Sections
7A and 5 to the banks of the River Buller, bearing
245° 53'; and on the Westward by the banks of
the River Buller to the northern boundary as
given above.
100. LYELL DISTRICT.
Bounded on the Northward by the southern
boundary of the Waimea South District, and partly
by part of the southern boundary of the Buller
District; thence by part of the eastern boundary
of the Buller District to a point on the River
Buller two miles below its junction with the Inan-
gahua; thence up the River Buller to the said
Inangahua junction; thence by a right line in a
south-easterly direction fifteen miles to a point on the
summit of the Brunner Range; thence southerly
along the summit of the said Brunner and Victoria
Ranges to Mount Haast; thence by a line drawn
through Lake Christabel to the western boundary of
the Amuri District; thence following that boundary
to the Top House.
101. INANGAHUA DISTRICT.
Commencing at a point on the Paparoha Range
at the head of the River Nile; thence along the
eastern boundary of the Buller District to its juuction
with the Lyell District; thence along part of the
western boundary of the Lyell District to Mount
Haast; thence along the watershed between the
Rivers Grey and Inangahua to the said Paparoha
Range; excluding the Town of Reefton District,
herein next defined.
102. TOWN OF REEFTON DISTRICT.
Comprising all that area situate within a circle
the radius of which is one mile in length, measured
from the Resident Magistrate's Court House at
Reefton.
103. GREY DISTRICT.
Bounded on the North partly by the southern
boundary of the Inangahua District, and partly by
the southern boundary of the Lyell District; thence
by part of the western boundary of the Amuri
District to the saddle between the River Hurunui
and the River Teremakau; thence by the boundary
line between the Province of Nelson and the Pro-
vince of Westland to the junction of the River
Arnold with the River Grey; and thence by the
eastern boundary of the Cobden District and part
of the eastern boundary of the Charleston District
to the point on the Paparoha Range from whence
this description commenced; excluding the Town of
Ahaura District herein next defined.
104. TOWN OF AHAURA DISTRICT.
Comprising all that area situate within a circle,
the radius of which is one mile in length, measured
from the Resident Magistrate's Court House at
Ahaura.
105. CHARLESTON DISTRICT.
Bounded by a line drawn due east from Razorback
Point to the top of the Paparoha Range; thence by a
line following the said range to Mount Buckland;
thence by the southern boundary of the Buller Dis-
trict to the sea; and thence by the coast line to
Razorback Point.
106. COBDEN DISTRICT.
Bounded on the Northward by the southern
boundary of the Charleston District, from Razorback
Point to a point on the Paparoha Range, being the
south-east corner of the Charleston District; thence
along the Paparoha Range to the junction of the
River Arnold with the River Grey; thence following
the River Grey to the sea; and thence by the coast
line to Razorback Point.
PROVINCE OF WESTLAND.
107. TOWN OF GREYMOUTH DISTRICT.
Bounded on the West by a line of 160 chains and 80
links, extending from the South Spit along the beach;
thence along the South Town Belt 115 chains and 50
links; thence along the East Town Belt, 120 chains
and 90 links; thence along the Native Reserve,
No. 31 for a distance of 41 chains and 30 links to the
River Grey; and thence along the River Grey to
the point of commencement.
108. COALDALE DISTRICT.
Commencing at the north-east corner of the Grey-
mouth District, hereinbefore described; thence
easterly along the south bank of the River Grey to
the junction of the River Arnold; thence south along
the east bank of the River Arnold to the south-east
corner of the Coal Reserve, No. 274; thence west
along the south boundary of the said reserve to its
intersection with the south-east corner of Rural
Section 1599; thence south along the east boundary
of said section; thence West along the south bound-
ary of the said section and Block No. I to its intersec-
tion with the A-Kline; and thence by a straight line
drawn westerly to the south-east corner of the afore-
said Greymouth District; and thence northerly along
the east boundary of the said district to the point
of commencement.
109. PAROA DISTRICT.
Commencing on the sea coast at the south-west
corner of the Greymouth District hereinbefore de-
scribed; thence easterly along the south boundary of
the said district hereinbefore described and Coaldale
District to the point of intersection of the A-K line
with Block I.; thence southerly along the A-K line
to Rata Tree Peak; thence along the Ka' Kawau
watershed by a line generally south-west; thence
south-west by a straight line down to the point of
intersection of the A-C line and New River;
thence south to the River Teremakau; thence
westerly along the south bank of the River Tere-
makau to the sea coast; and thence northerly along
the sea coast to the point of commencement.
110. ARNOLD DISTRICT.
Commencing at Rata Tree Peak; thence northerly
along the east boundary of the before-described
Paroa District; thence west along the southern
boundary of the Coaldale District to the River
Arnold; thence southerly along the east bank of the
said river to Lake Brunner; thence along the
margin of the said lake to the mouth of the Big
Hohonu River; thence westerly by a line following
generally the watershed between the New River on
one side, and the Arnold Creek, Maori Gully, and
Still Water on the other, to Mount Fox; thence
along the watershed to Mount Card; and thence
westerly by a straight line to Rata Tree Peak.
111. CLIFTON DISTRICT.
Commencing at Rata Tree Peak; thence easterly
along the southern boundary of the before-described
Arnold District to Lake Brunner, at the mouth of
the Big Hohonu River; thence westerly by a line
