THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
River to a point where the southern boundary of
Section No. 593, Warehama Block, strikes the said
river; thence in a straight line bearing 294° 17'
magnetic to the Tauheru River; thence up the
Tauheru River to a point where the western boundary
of Section No. 170, Warehama Block, crosses the
said river; thence northerly along the western
boundaries of Sections Nos. 170, 171, 183, 175, and
174, to the Waitawhiti Stream; thence down the
Waitawhiti Stream to its junction with the Tirumea
Stream; thence down the said stream to its junction
with the Manawatu River; thence easterly along the
boundaries of the Province to the mouth of the
Waimata Stream; thence southerly along the sea
coast to the starting point.

  1. UPPER WAIRARAPA DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the East by the western boundary of the
    Whareama District; on the North-east and North by
    the Manawatu River to the Gorge; on the West by
    a right line along the summits from peak to peak
    of the Tararua and Rimutaka Ranges; and on the
    South and South-west by the Waiohine River from
    its source to the Ruamahunga River; thence by the
    Ruamahunga River to the Huangarua River; thence
    by a straight line to the junction of the Kaikaikuri
    Creek with the Pahua River; and thence by the
    Pahua River to its mouth on the sea coast. Exclu-
    sive of the Town of Masterton District, herein next
    defined.

  2. TOWN OF MASTERTON DISTRICT.
    Comprising all that area situate within a circle
    the radius of which is one mile in length, measured
    from the Resident Magistrate's Court House at
    Masterton.

  3. LOWER WAIRARAPA DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North and North-east by the
    south and south-west boundaries of the Upper Wai-
    rarapa District to the sea at the mouth of the River
    Pahua; thence on the South-east, South, and West,
    by the sea coast to Taourakira Head, and towards the
    West by the summit line of the Rimutaka and Tara-
    rua Ranges, but exclusive of the Towns of Greytown
    and Featherston Districts herein next defined.

  4. TOWN OF GREYTOWN DISTRICT.
    Comprising all that area situate within a circle
    the radius of which is one mile in length, measured
    from the Resident Magistrate's Court House at
    Greytown.

  5. TOWN OF FEATHERSTON DISTRICT.
    Comprising all that area situate within a circle
    the radius of which is one mile in length, measured
    from the Resident Magistrate's Court House at
    Featherston.

  6. HUTT DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the South by the sea from Cape
    Taourakira to Pencarrow Head; thence on the West,
    again on the South, and on the South-east, by high
    watermark of Port Nicholson to the point where
    the prolongation of the north-eastern boundary of
    Section No. 17, Harbour Road District, would strike
    the high watermark; thence across the Hutt Road,
    and along the north-eastern boundary of the said
    Section No. 17, and along a prolongation of the same
    to the summit of the watershed between Port Nichol-
    son and Porirua; thence towards the North-west by
    the summit of the said hills to the Tararua Range;
    thence towards the South-east by the summit of the
    Tararua and Rimutaka Ranges to Cape Taourakira.

  7. CITY OF WELLINGTON—THORNDON DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the East and North-east by the Har-
    bour west; on the North by Harbour Section No. 1,
    from the Harbour waters around the exterior bound-
    aries of Town Section No. 660 to the north-western
    corner of the Town Belt; on the West by the
    Karori-Makara District; on the South and South-
    east by the north side of Kumutoto Street and Bol-
    ton Street (including Town Acres 473 and 474), in
    a line with the north side of Bolton Street to the
    Town Belt, including that part of the Town Belt
    lying to the westward of the Tinakori Road.

  8. CITY OF WELLINGTON—LAMBTON DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North and North-west by Thorn-
    don District; on the West and South-west by
    the Karori Road; on the East by the harbour; on
    the South by a line drawn from the south-east corner
    of the Town Acre 507 along the southern boundary
    of the said acre and of Town Acres 475 and 451 to
    the Town Belt, and shall include that part of the
    Town Belt lying between Thorndon District, the sec-
    tions on Wellington Terrace, a line in continuation
    of Margaret Street, to section 28 of Karori Country
    District and the Karori Road and District.

  9. CITY OF WELLINGTON—TE ARO DISTRICT.
    Te Aro District includes all the portion of the
    City of Wellington and of the Town Belt not com-
    prised within the two other City Districts.

  10. KARORI-MAKARA DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North and North-west by the
    southern and south-eastern boundaries of the Porirua
    District; on the North-east by the Hutt District;
    on the East by that portion of the shore of Port
    Nicholson Harbour which extends from the extreme
    point of the south-eastern boundary of the Hutt
    District at high water mark in Port Nicholson to
    Town Section 660 of the City of Wellington; thence
    along the northern boundary of that section; thence
    along the northern and western boundaries of the
    City of Wellington Town Belt to the coast; and
    thence following the sea coast to the mouth of the
    Ohariu River.

  11. PORIRUA DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North by a straight line drawn
    from the sea coast due east (magnetic) over the
    crest of Paikakariki Hill, and prolonged till it meets
    the north-western boundary of the Hutt District;
    thence towards the South-west along that boundary
    to the north-western corner of Section No. 17, Har-
    bour Road District, at its point of junction with the
    north-eastern corner of Section No. 2 of the Kina-
    pori District; thence along the north-western boun-
    dary of the said Section No. 2, and along the north-
    western boundary of section No. 17, Porirua Boad
    District, to the point where it meets the Porirua
    Road; thence along the said road to the north-
    eastern corner of Section No. 21 of the same district;
    thence along the north-western boundaries of the
    said Section No. 21 and Section No. 106 of the same
    district to the north-eastern corner of Section No.
    20 of the Ohariu Road District, and along the
    northern boundary of the said section to where it
    meets a road; thence across the said road to the
    south-eastern corner of Section No. 22 of the last
    named district, and following along the southern
    boundary of the said section till it strikes the eastern
    branch of the Ohariu River; thence along that
    branch to its confluence with the Ohariu River, and
    by the Ohariu River to its mouth at the sea coast.

  12. OTAKI DISTRICT.
    Bounded towards the North by the south bank of
    the river Ohau from its mouth to its most easterly
    source; thence by a straight line due east (magnetic)
    to the summit of the Tararua Mountains; thence
