23rd May, 1871.

Thomas Morrison to be Sub-Lieutenant. Date of
commission, 23rd May, 1871.

In the Hutt Rifle Volunteers.

John Augustus Mason to be Sub-Lieutenant. Date
of commission, 4th September, 1871.

In the 1st Westland Rifle Volunteers.

Ensign William Moses Forsyth to be Lieutenant.
Date of commission, 11th March, 1872.

James McClure Glasgow to be Sub-Lieutenant. Date

alter the designation of
The No. 6 Company, Auckland Rifle Volunteers,
to the "No. 1 (City) Company, Auckland Rifle
Volunteer Brigade."

And the designation of the Nos. 1 and 5 Com-
panies, Auckland Rifle Volunteer Cadets, to the
"Nos. 1 and 2 Companies, Victoria Rifle
Volunteer Cadets."

And to amalgamate the Nos. 3 and 6 Companies,
Auckland Rifle Volunteer Cadets, under the
designation of the "Cadet Company, Auckland
Rifle Volunteer Brigade."

revoke the license held by

appoint
EDWARD FFRANCIS WARD, Esq.,
to be Deputy Commissioner of Stamps for the Pro-
vince of Otago, vice A. W. Smith, Esq., resigned.
This appointment takes effect on and from the 1st
June instant.

CUSTOMS.-In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
ton Act, 1858," I, the Commissioner of Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned
Warehouse, viz. :-

Port of Greymouth.

Part of a wood and iron building situate on the
north bank of the Lagoon in the Town of Greymouth,
having an entrance from Hospital Street, and known
as
KENNEDY BROTHERS' WAREHOUSE,
to be a Warehouse for the reception of Goods under
Bond.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
thirteenth day of June, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-two.
