Letters Patent for the said Invention, and that I have
appointed Friday, the ninth day of August next, at
eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at my office, to hear
and consider the said application and all objections
thereto; and I do hereby require all persons having
an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters
Patent to leave, on or before the fifth day of August
next, at my office in Wellington, particulars in
writing of their objections to the said application,
otherwise they will be precluded from urging the
same.

  • The Stations marked with an asterisk are open from 8 a.m.
    till 8 p.m.; all others from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m., except Govern-
    ment Buildings, which opens at 10 p.m. and closes at 4.30 p.m.,
    except on Saturdays, when it closes at 2 p.m. This Station is
    also closed on Sundays.

In addition to the ordinary hours, the Oamaru
Station is open from 7 p.m. till 8 p.m. daily, Sundays
and Holidays excepted.

N.B.-On Sundays, Public Holidays, and within
each Province the Anniversary of such Province, the
Office Hours are from 10 a.m. till 10.30 a.m., and 240
from 5 p.m. till 5.30 p.m.

PATENT for “An Invention for more simply,
quickly, and easily rivetting Wrought-iron Pipes
of small diameter, by a tool called the Auxiliary
Rivetter, and the use of short pieces of round iron
instead of ordinary Rivets.”

This is to notify, that CHARLES MCQUEEN, of
Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, New Zealand,
Engineer, did, on the sixth day of May instant,
deposit at the office of the Patent Officer, in the
Colonial Secretary's Office, in Wellington, a specifi-
cation or instrument in writing, under his hand and
seal, particularly describing and ascertaining the
nature of the said Invention, and in what manner the
same is to be performed; and that by reason of such
deposit the said Invention is protected and secured to
him exclusively for the term of six calendar months
thence next ensuing.

And I do further notify, that the said Charles
McQueen has given notice in writing at my office of
his intention to proceed with his application for
Letters Patent for the said Invention, and that I
have appointed Friday, the ninth day of August
next, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at my office,
to hear and consider the said application and all ob-
jections thereto; and I do hereby require all persons
having an interest in opposing the grant of such
Letters Patent to leave, on or before the fifth day of
August next, at my office in Wellington, particulars
in writing of their objections to the said application,
otherwise they will be precluded from urging the
same.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the
provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless
caveat in the meantime be lodged forbidding the
same.

Section five (5), Block Thirteen (XIII.), Town of
Invercargill.---Applicant, WILLIAM GARTH-
WAITE, of Invercargill aforesaid, Blacksmith.
Caveat must be lodged within one calendar month
after the gazetting of this notice.
Diagrams may be inspected at this office.
Dated this 25th day of May, 1872, at the Lands
Registry Office, Invercargill.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the parcel of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the
provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless
caveat in the meantime be lodged forbidding the
same.

Fourteen perches, being eastern portion of Section
1459, Town of Hokitika, having a frontage to Park
Street of 186 links.
Applicant, JOHN WHITTAKER, of Hokitika,
Currier. (G. S. W. Dalrymple, Broker.)
Caveat must be lodged within one calendar month
after the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
