THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Now therefore, His Excellency Sir George Ferguson
Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand, with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
Colony, in exercise and in pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the said Act, doth
hereby order that the estate or interest of the said
Kingita Hoehoe in the land so described in the said
Schedule shall be and remain vested in the said
Ropitini Te Rito and Karauria, of the District of
Wairoa, in the Province of Hawke's Bay, aboriginal
natives of New Zealand, as Trustees within the
meaning and for the purposes of the said Act for
the said Pahira Hoehoe and Kingita Hoehoe during
their minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement
3140 acres, more or less, situate at Kahuitara, in the
District of Wairoa, Province of Hawke's Bay, being
called or known by the name of "Kahuitara No. 1,"
and numbered 2089. Bounded towards the North-
east by the Maromauku Stream; towards the East
by the Tutuotekaha No. 3 Block, 3515 links and
7027 links; towards the South-east by the Tukemo-
kihi No. 1 Block, 2078 links, the Tukemokihi No. 2
Block, 1870 links, and 2480 links, by the Rotoparu
Stream, again by the Tukemokihi No. 2 Block, 1448
links, and by the Kahuitara No. 2 Block, 4375 links;
towards the South-west by the Kahuitara No. 2
block aforesaid, 598 links, 1493 links, 2094 links,
3187 links, 1898 links, and 1118 links; towards the
West by the Paeroa No. 2 Block, 2084 links; and
towards the North-west by the Kauhauroa No. 4
Block, 4204 links, by a branch of the Rotoparu
Stream, and by the Rotoparu Stream, by the Ruio-
hangi Stream, by the Kauhauroa No. 2 Block, 3582
links, 800 links, and 1737 links, and by the Kau-
hauroa No. 1 Block, 2770 links and 5260 links.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Auckland, this
twenty-seventh day of April, 1872.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted that if any
title to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue
to any Maoris who, or any of whom, shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or interest
therein, as shall to the Governor in Council be shown
to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other person
under legal disability, shall be vested in trustees as
the Governor in Council shall think fit: And whereas
by virtue of a certificate of title bearing date the
24th day of September, 1867, the parcel of land and
hereditaments described in the Schedule hereon
written became vested in Tamati Matangihia, Wiremu
Te Ruamaunga, Ihaka Whanga, Paioneone, Wiremu
Kirikiri, Te Kemara Hanuhanu, Komene Tahu, Kaho,
Taraipine Kuti, and Te Waka Mihi, of the Wairoa
District, in the Province of Hawke's Bay, aboriginal
natives of New Zealand: And whereas Wiremu
Kirikiri, one of the persons named in the said certifi-
cate of title, died intestate: And whereas at a Native
Lands Court held at Te Wairoa, in the Province afore-
said, Wiremu Kirikiri, Maraea Newa, Meri, Te Iri-
kowhai, Maia, Mata Kuao, Heni Ngamako, and Mare,
minors, claimed to succeed to the interest of the said
Wiremu Kirikiri in the said parcel of land described
in the said Schedule, and it was ordered by the said
Court that the said Wiremu Kirikiri, Maraea Newa,
Meri, Te Irikowhai, Maia, Mata Kuao, Heni Ngamako,
and Mare, should succeed to the hereditaments afore-
said, and it is expedient that Tamati Tangihia and
Waka Mihi be appointed Trustees under the said Act
on behalf of the said Wiremu Kirikiri, Maraea Newa,
Meri, Te Irikowhai, Maia, Mata Kuao, Heni Ngamako,
and Mare during their minority:

District of Ahuriri, in the Province of Hawke's Bay,
being called or known by the name of "Tawapata
South," and numbered 607. Bounded towards the
East by the ocean; towards the West by Hawke's
Bay; and towards the North by the Mangatea Stream,
and by the Tawapata North Block, 11,940 links.

Tamehana, of the District of Waipawa, in the Province
of Hawke's Bay, aboriginal natives of New Zealand:
And whereas Hanita Te Maero, one of the grantees
therein, died intestate: And whereas at a Native
Lands Court held at Waipawa, in the Province
aforesaid, Iriwhata, a minor, claimed to succeed to
the interest of Hanita Te Maero in the said parcel
of land described in the said Schedule, and it was
ordered by the said Court that the said Iriwhata
should succeed to the hereditaments aforesaid, and it
is expedient that Heta Tiki be appointed Trustee
under the said Act on behalf of the said Iriwhata
during his minority:
