ance.

Now therefore, His Excellency Sir George Ferguson
Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand, with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of New
Zealand, in exercise and in pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the said Act, doth
hereby order that the estate or interest of the said
Makarini in the said lands so described in the said
Schedule shall be and remain vested in Hirawa Te
Moananui, of the District of Hauraki, in the said
Province, aboriginal native of New Zealand, as Trustee
within the meaning and for the purposes of the said
Act for the said Peke Whati, Te Moananui, and
Poata Makarini, during their minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement
10 acres and 8 perches, more or less, situate at
Hauraki, in the District of Hauraki, Province of
Auckland, being called or known by the name of
"Kauaeranga No. 14," and numbered 935, bounded
towards the North-east by the gold field, 993 links
and 218 links; towards the South-east by Kauaeranga
No. 13 Block, 1043 links; towards the South-west by
Kauaeranga No. 13 Block aforesaid, 278 links, by
Kauaeranga No. 15 Block, 48 links, 197 links, 460
links, 125 links, and 102 links, by Kauaeranga No. 16
Block, 137 links, and by Kauaeranga No. 17 Block,
209 links; and towards the North-west by Kauaeranga
No. 18 Block, 227 links and 679 links.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Auckland, this
twenty-seventh day of April, 1872.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted that if any title
to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue to
any Maoris who, or any of whom, shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or
interest therein, as shall to the Governor in Council be
shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other person
under legal disability, shall be vested in trustees,
as the Governor in Council shall think fit: And
whereas by virtue of a certificate of title bearing date
the 3rd day of June, 1870, the parcel of land and
hereditaments described in the Schedule hereon
written became vested in Aperahama Te Reiroa,
Tanumeha Te Moananui, Aihi Pepene, Hori Apera-
hama, Te Hemara Aperahama, Reha Aperahama,
Riria Aperahama, Hirawa, and Makarini, of the Dis-
trict of Hauraki, in the Province of Auckland,
aboriginal natives of New Zealand: And whereas
Makarini, one of the persons named in the said certi-
ficate of title, died intestate: And whereas at a
Native Lands Court held at Shortland, in the Pro-
vince aforesaid, Peke Whati, Te Moananui, and
Poata Makarini, minors, claimed to succeed to the
interest of the Makarini in the said parcel of land
described in the said Schedule, and it was ordered by
the said Court the said Peke Whati, Te Moananui,
and Poata Makarini should succeed to the heredita-
ments aforesaid, and it is expedient that Hirawa Te

Hamana Tiakiwai, and Kingita Hoehoe, of the District
of Wairoa, in the Province of Hawke's Bay, aboriginal
natives of New Zealand: And whereas Kingita
Hoehoe, one of the persons named in the said certi-
ficate of title, died intestate: And whereas at a
Native Lands Court held at Wairoa, in the Province
aforesaid, Pahira Hoehoe and Kingita Hoehoe,
minors, claimed to succeed to the interest of the
said Kingita Hoehoe in the parcel of land described
in the said Schedule, and it was ordered by the said
Court that the said Pahira Hoehoe and Kingita
Hoehoe should succeed to the hereditaments aforesaid,
and it is expedient that Ropitini Te Rito and Karau-
ria be appointed Trustees under the said Act on
behalf of the said Pahira Hoehoe and Kingita Hoe-
hoe during their minority:
