LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the land hereinafter
described will be brought under the provisions
of "The Land Transfer Act, 1870," unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 8th
June, 1872.
Allotment 3 and part of Allotment 4 of Section 17,
City of Auckland; frontage to Queen Street and
Mills Lane. Occupied by the buildings of the Bank
of New Zealand. On the application of THOMAS
RUSSELL and others, as Directors of said Bank.

NORTH DUNEDIN CEMETERY BILL.
NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned, on
behalf of the Council of the City of Dunedin,
that it is intended by the said Council to apply to
the General Assembly of New Zealand, at its next
Session, for leave to bring in a Bill intituled "An
Act to appropriate a certain portion of the Town
Belt of Dunedin to and for the purpose of a Public
Cemetery, and to empower the Council of the City of
Dunedin to manage the same."
The objects of such intended application are as
follows:-
- To obtain from the General Assembly the appro-
priation and setting apart, for the purpose of a Public
Cemetery for the interment of the dead, of all that
area of land in the Province of Otago, Colony of New
Zealand, containing by admeasurement twenty (20)
acres one rood, more or less, situate in the north-east
angle of the Town Belt of Dunedin, and bounded to-
wards the North-north-east by other part of the said
Town Belt, nine hundred and ninety-six (996) links;
on the East-south-east by other part of the said Town
Belt, seven hundred (700) links; on the North-north-
