POST OFFICE MONEY ORDERS.

WITH reference to Treasury Notice of the 10th
December, 1862, published in Government Gazette
No. 231, it is hereby notifed, that on and after the
1st July, 1871, the Post Office Money Order System
will be extended to the following places, viz.:-

Bringelly. Monga.
Corowa. Pyrmont.
Upper Adelong.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.

No. 11 of 1871.

Customs Department (Marine Branch),
Wellington, 29th July, 1871.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a dangerous Sunken
Rock, measuring about 150 feet in diameter,
with only four (4) feet water on it at low water
spring tides, has been discovered in the fairway
entering Mercury Island Harbour. The following
magnetic bearings of this rock were taken by Mr.
W. Simpson, late Master of the Revenue Cutter
"Ringleader":

Extreme S.W. point of Island S. by E.E.
The inner of the two rocks at entrance of
Bay W.S.W.
These rocks in one lead nearly over it.

Gazette, No. 7, of the 31st of January; No. 14,
of the 25th of February; No. 19, of the 18th
of March; No. 20, of the 27th of March; No. 23,
of the 13th of April; No. 24, of the 26th of April;

May; and No. 38, of the 4th of July, in the present
year.
