(formerly subordinate to Drem) was made a Head
Office; and Money Order Offices were opened at the
Cockburn Street, Fountainbridge, and Princes Street
(Edinburgh) Receiving Offices.

11. During the past quarter Ballyhaunis and
Claremorris have been made Head Offices, and Bally-
glass and Hollymount have been reduced to Sub-
Offices under Claremorris. In connection with these
alterations, Ballinrobe and Cong (formerly under
Hollymount), and Ballindine (formerly under Tuam),
are now served from Claremorris; Kilkelly (formerly
under Swinford) is now served from Ballyhaunis; and
Balla (formerly under (Ballyglass) is now served from
Castlebar.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

Lands Registry Office, Wellington.

WHEREAS the person named below has made
application to the land hereinafter de-
scribed brought under the operation of "The Land
Transfer Act, 1870," notice is hereby given, that
unless caveat be lodged with me, the undersigned, by
some person having estate or interest in the said
land, on or before the date herein below specified,
the said land will be brought under the operation of
the said Act as by law directed. A diagram deline-
ating the said land may be inspected at this office.

CHARLES FRANCE, of Wellington, Surgeon.-
Town of Wellington, part of Section No. 178.
Bounded-North and South by other parts of the
same section, 241 links respectively; East by Cuba
Street, 91 links; and West by section No. 176, 91
links.
Caveat may be lodged on or before 8th July, 1871.

WHEREAS the persons named at foot hereof
have each respectively for himself made appli-
cation to have the land set forth and described after
his name brought under the operation of "The Land
Transfer Act, 1870," notice is hereby given, that
unless caveat be lodged with the District Land
Registrar of the District of Canterbury, by some
person having estate or interest in the said lands,
on or before the date herein below for each case
specified, the said pieces of land will be brought
under the operation of the said Act as by law
directed. Diagrams delineating these parcels of land
may be inspected at this office.

JAMES LINFORTH.-20 acres, part Rural
Section 555, in the Christchurch District. Com-
mencing at South-east corner of section; thence
along Southern boundary, 1530 links; and Western, 656
1260 links; thence in a line parallel to the Southern
boundary to the Eastern boundary; and along the
Eastern boundary to the commencing point.
JOSEPH WELD.-50 acres, Rural Section 7101,
Ellesmere District.

GEORGE ROBERTS.-Part Sections 156 and
158, Durham Street, Christchurch, being Northern
portion of above sections, fronting 78 feet 6 inches
on Durham Street; and running back East in a
rectangular block, 132 feet.

EDWARD GEORGE WRIGHT.-100 acres,
Rural Section 9539, Upper Christchurch District.
Time for caveat in all the above cases, 10th July,
1871.

112 links, by other part of said section 56; and
towards the North-west, 50 links, by other portion
of said section 56.

JOHN JOHNSTONE, of Dunedin, Boilermaker;
and JOHN DREW, of Dunedin, Tailor.-Part of
Sections 44 and 45, Block XXVI., Dunedin. Bounded
towards the West-north-west, 150 links, by Cumber-
land Street; towards the North-north-east, 225
links, by other part of section 45; towards the East-
south-east, 50 links, by other portion of section 45,
and 100 links by other part of section 44; and to-
wards the South-south-west, 112 links by other
part of section 44, and 112 links by section 43 in
the same block.

WILLIAM NEWSHAM BLAIR, of Dunedin,
Civil Engineer.-Part of Section 7, Block XXVII.,
Dunedin. Bounded towards the North-east, 225
links, by section 8 in the same block; towards the
South-east by other part of section 7, being portion
of a private street called Grange Street, 100 links;
towards the South-west, 225 links, by section 6 in
the same block; and towards the North-west, 100
links, by Castle Street.

Caveat in each case must be lodged within one
calendar month after the publication of this notice.
