the North and North-west by the Waitahanui Stream
and the Pariotumaunga. Stream, and by the fence
bounding Te Mawae's land; towards the North-east
by the Pariotumaunga, No. 1 Block, four hundred and
forty-four (444) links, and by a line two hundred and
ninety (290) links; towards the East by a line one
thousand five hundred and seventy-five (1,575) links;
towards the South by lines one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-one (1,921) links, and four hundred and
seventy-eight (478) links; by the No. 1 Line Reserve
Boundary, eight hundred and seventy-eight (878)
links, and two thousand five hundred and thirty-five
(2,535) links; and by the Great North-Western Road
from Turakina to Whanganui, one thousand three
hundred and fifty-seven (1,357) links; and towards
the West by the Waitahanui No. 4 Block, five
hundred and sixty (560) links. the North-east by the Paranuiamata No. 2 Block,
one thousand nine hundred and eighty-two (1,982)
links; towards the South-east by a line six hundred
and sixty-eight (668) links; towards the South-west
by a line one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two
(1,882) links; and towards the North-west by an old
road to a mill, six hundred and eighty-eight (688)
links; excepting such parts of the said parcel of land
as are coloured brown on the plan drawn hereon,
containing by admeasurement three (3) acres one
(1) rood and twenty-five perches.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, the
tenth day of August, 1870.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL,
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted that if any
title to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue
to any Maoris who, or any of whom, shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof, or
interest therein, as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
Trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of a Crown Grant bearing
date the eleventh day of April, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy, the parcel of land and
hereditaments described in the Schedule hereto,
became vested in Kingi Te Rangiirunga, Te Weraroa,
and Kairama, of the District of Whanganui, in the
Province of Wellington, aboriginal natives of New
Zealand:
And whereas the said Kingi Te Rangiirunga, Te
Weraroa, and Kairama, are infants under the age of
twenty-one years:
Now therefore, His Excellency Sir George Fer-
guson Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand,
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the Colony, in exercise and in pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in him by the said Act,
doth hereby order that the lands described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and remain vested in Te
Kepa Te Rangihiwinui, of Whanganui, an aboriginal
native, and Wikitoria Tumua, of Whanganui, an
aboriginal native, as Trustees within the meaning
and for the purposes of the said Act, for the said
Kingi Te Rangiirunga, Te Weraroa, and Kairama,
their heirs and assigns.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in our Province of
Wellington, in our Colony of New Zealand, contain-
ing by admeasurement thirteen (13) acres and three
(3) perches, more or less, situate at Putiki, in the
District of Whanganui, being called or known by the
name of "Paranuiamata No. 3," and numbered one
hundred and nineteen N (119N), bounded towards the North-east by the Paranuiamata No. 2 Block,
one thousand nine hundred and eighty-two (1,982)
links; towards the South-east by a line six hundred
and sixty-eight (668) links; towards the South-west
by a line one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two
(1,882) links; and towards the North-west by an old
road to a mill, six hundred and eighty-eight (688)
links; excepting such parts of the said parcel of land
as are coloured brown on the plan drawn hereon,
containing by admeasurement three (3) acres one
(1) rood and twenty-five perches.

Reverend B. K. Taylor, of Whanganui, M.A., Clerk
in Holy Orders, and Hori Kerei Pai-Pai, of
Whanganui, an aboriginal native of New Zealand, as
Trustees within the meaning and for the purposes of
the said Act, for the said Harete Kerei, his heirs and
assigns.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land, in our Province of Wel-
lington, in our Colony of New Zealand, containing
by admeasurement four (4) acres, three (3) roods,
and twenty-four (24) perches, more or less, situate
at Putiki, in the District of Whanganui, being called
or known by the name of "Waitahanui No. 1,"
and numbered one hundred and four N (1C4N),
bounded towards the South by the Great North-
Western Road; towards the West by a line two
hundred and forty-eight (248) links; towards the
North-west by a line in a curve; towards the North by
a line six hundred and thirty-three (633) links;
towards the North-east by a line two hundred and
eighty-eight (288) links; and towards the East by
the Waitahanui No. 4 Block, three hundred and
twenty-one (321) links.
