IN the matter of "The Friendly Societies Act,
1867," notice is hereby given that transcripts of
the Rules of the following Friendly Societies, duly
certified, have been lodged with the Registrar of
Friendly Societies, registered and recorded in his
office under the provisions of "The Friendly Societies
Act, 1867," viz.:-
"Bye-Laws of the Loyal Albion Lodge; Man-
chester Unity Independent Order of Odd
Fellows, Otago District."
"Bye-Laws for the Government of Court Enter-
prise, No. 3,990, No. 2 Branch of the Otago
District Ancient Order of Foresters."
"Bye-Laws of the Loyal Prince of Wales Lodge,
Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd
Fellows, Otago District."
"Laws of the Widow and Orphan's Fund in
conjunction with the Ancient Order of
Foresters, of the Timaru District, Canter-
bury."

WELLINGTON DISTRICT.
(Copy of Sheriff's Notice of Sale of Real Estate in
the terms of the Act.)
In re Joseph McGiffert Cleland, Plaintiff; and John
McManaway, Defendant.
Amount recovered, £57 19s. 6d.

I hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ of
Fieri Facias to me directed, I have caused my
Bailiff to enter upon Section number thirty-five on
the official plan of the District of Makara, in the
Province of Wellington, containing one hundred
acres, more or less, situated at Makara, in the Pro-
vince of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand,
and being the freehold property of the above-named
Defendant, John McManaway (such land having been
taken in execution at the suit of the execution credi-
tor), and that it is my intention to sell, or cause the
said property to be sold by public auction, at Thomas's
Auction Mart, Lambton Quay, in the city of Wel-
lington, on Saturday, the 11th day of December, 1869,
at two o'clock, p.m., unless satisfaction be sooner
made of said amount of judgment and all further
costs and expenses incidental thereto.

And I further give notice that Mr. Frank Morton
Ollivier, of the City of Wellington, is the Solicitor
for the Plaintiff.

CHARLES GARSED ROBINSON, who left
London for Victoria on the 12th June, 1852,
arrived in Melbourne on the 10th September, 1852,
and remained there until the 21st September, 1865,
when he is believed to have embarked for New
Zealand, is requested to communicate with the under-
signed.
