I the undersigned NATHANIEL WILLIAM MASSEY,
hereby make application to register "The
United Stars Gold Mining and Quartz Crushing
Company, Registered," under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865;"
and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the
following statement is, to the best of my belief and
knowledge, true in every particular, namely:--

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The
    United Stars Gold Mining and Quartz Crushing
    Company, Registered."

  2. The place of operations is at the Puriri, at
    the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland,
    in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is nineteen
    thousand seven hundred and eighty pounds, in nine
    thousand eight hundred and ninety shares of two
    pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is eighteen thou-
    sand five hundred and forty-three pounds fifteen
    shillings, represented by the estimated value of the
    Company's mine and plant.

  5. The name of the manager is Nathaniel William
    Massey.

  6. The office of the Company is at Brown Street,
    Graham's Town.

  7. The names and several residences of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at

    Bachelors' Gold Mining Company, Registered."

  2. The place of operations is at the. Waiotahi
    Creek, at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province
    of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is fourteen
    thousand four hundred pounds, in fourteen thousand
    four hundred shares of one pound each.

  4. The amount already paid up is ten thousand
    eight hundred pounds.

  5. The name of the manager is Nathaniel William
    Massey.
