I, the undersigned JOHN CUMMINS MORPHETT,
hereby make application to register "The Cen-
tral Star Gold Mining Company, Registered," under
the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best of
my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:-

1. That the name and style of the Company is
   "The Central Star Gold Mining Company, Regis-
   tered."

2. That the place of operations is at the Karaka
   Creek, at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of
   Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

3. That the nominal capital of the Company is
   eight thousand pounds, in three thousand two hundred
   shares of two pounds ten shillings each.

4. That the amount paid up is six thousand four
   hundred pounds, being estimated value of the Mine.

5. That the name of the manager is John Cummins
   Morphett.

6. That the office of the Company is in Graham's
   Town.

7. That the names and several residences of the
   shareholders, and the number of shares held by each

Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and
sincerely declare that the following statement is, to
the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every
particular, namely:—

1. The name and style of the Company is "The
   British Ensign Gold Mining Company, Registered."

2. The place of operations is at the Collarbone,
   Karaka, at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province
   of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

3. The nominal capital of the Company is five
   thousand pounds, in five thousand shares of one
   pound each.
