the undersigned DAVID GEORGE SMALE, hereby
make application to register "The Southern
Interest Gold Mining Company, Registered," under
the provisions of the "Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best
of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:-

The name and style of the Company is "The
Southern Interest Gold Mining Company, Regis-
tered." -
The place of operations is at Tararu, at the
Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland, in
the Colony of New Zealand. -
The nominal capital of the Company is eleven
thousand pounds, in eight thousand eight hundred
shares of one pound five shillings each. -
The amount already paid up is eight thousand
eight hundred pounds, being the estimated value of
the Mine. -
The name of the manager is David George
Smale. -
The office of the Company is at Abraham Street,
Graham's Town, and High Street, Auckland. -
