NOTICE to Harbour Masters and others.—
Whereas it has come to the knowledge of the
Postmaster-General that certain Harbour Lights
have been altered in color without his sanction:
Notice is hereby given to Harbour Masters and
others in charge of such harbour or other local lights,
that all such changes must be approved by the Post-
master-General, and duly notified in the New Zealand
Gazette, for a sufficient length of time before they
are carried into effect; and that any person making
such change without the sanction of the Postmaster-
General, and due notice in the Gazette, will be liable
to be proceeded against under the provisions of "The
Marine Act, 1867," besides being liable to be sued
for any damage to shipping which may result from
want of such notice.

Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,

Act, 1854," have been sent in to me, in addition to
the names in Lists published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 6, of the 30th of January; No. 9, of the
13th of February; No. 13, of the 3rd of March; No.
14, of the 9th of March; No. 18, of the 3rd of
April; No. 19, of the 20th April; No. 22, of the 7th
of May; and No. 23, of the 14th of May, in the
present year.

Street, Auckland, in the Colony of New
Zealand, accountant, hereby make application to
register "The Tapu Gold Mining Company,
Registered," under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do
solemnly and sincerely declare that the following
statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge,
true in every particular, namely:—
- The name and style of the Company is
"The Tapu Gold Mining Company, Registered." - The place of operation is at Tapu Creek, in
Queen's County, in the Colony of New Zealand. - The nominal capital of the Company is ten
thousand eight hundred pounds (£10,800), in one
hundred and eight shares (108), of one hundred
pounds (£100) each. - The amount already paid up is seven thousand
two hundred pounds (£7,200). - The name of the manager is Charles Tothill.
