THE following scale of medicines and medical
stores for merchant ships has been issued and
caused to be published by the Board of Trade under
the authority of "The (Imperial) Merchant Shipping
Act, 1867."

All British ships navigating between the United
Kingdom and this Colony must be supplied with,
and the masters must serve out, such medicines and
medical stores, under penalty, as provided by the said
Act.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

This scale came into operation on the 1st January,
1868, and has superseded the scale formerly in force.
