PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following name of an OFFICIATING
MINISTER within the meaning of the said Act is
published for general information :-

I, JOHN B. BENNETT, Registrar-General of Births,
Deaths, and Marriages, in New Zealand, do hereby
certify that the foregoing NAME of an OFFICIATING
MINISTER within the meaning of "The Marriage
Act, 1854," has been sent in to me, in addition to
the names in Lists published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 9, of the 30th of January; No. 13, of
the 3rd March; No. 17, of the 24th March; No. 20,
of the 11th of April; No. 22, of the 24th of April;
No. 28, of the 14th of May; No. 34, of the 8th
of June; No. 36, of the 20th June; No. 41, of
the 6th July; No. 42, of the 19th of July; and No.
46, of the 15th August, in the present year.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this
twenty-ninth day of September, 1866.

"THE SELWYN COPPER AND MANGANESE MINING
COMPANY (LIMITED);"
the objects of which are the purchase of rural
sections three thousand one hundred and seven and
three thousand one hundred and eight, in the
Province of Canterbury, for the purpose of getting,
converting selling disposing of and carrying away
the ores of copper and manganese and any other
minerals lying and being in and under the said
lands, and the doing all such other things as are
incidental or conducive to the attainment of the
above objects.
And that, in pursuance of the provisions of "The
Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860," I have issued a
Certificate of Incorporation of the said Company,
bearing date this third day of October, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-six.

(with limited liability of the shareholders therein),

"THE HOKITIKA AND GREYMOUTH TRAMWAY
COMPANY (LIMITED);"
the objects of which are "the laying a line of tramway
from Hokitika to Greymouth, for the conveyance of
passengers and goods in carriages and trucks
between those towns and intervening places, and the
doing of all such other things as are incidental or
conducive to the attainment of the above objects."
And that in pursuance of "The Joint Stock
Companies Act, 1860," I have issued a Certificate of
Incorporation of the said Company, bearing date this
twelfth day of October, one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-six.

And that, in pursuance of the provisions of "The

hereby notify that I have registered a Memorandum
of Association, with Articles of Association, estab-
lishing a Company with limited liability of the
shareholders therein, entitled "The Grey River
Steam Tug Company, Limited," the objects of which
are the towing of vessels into and out of the port of
Greymouth, or such other ports as the Company
may from time to time determine, the conveyance of
passengers and goods to and from ocean steamers,
and the doing all such other things as are incidental
or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
And that, in pursuance of "The Joint Stock Com-
panies Act, 1860," I have issued a certificate of
incorporation of the said company bearing date this
eighteenth day of October, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-six.

Articles of Association annexed, establishing a
Company (with limited liability of the shareholders
therein), entitled
"THE OAMARU MASONIC HALL COMPANY (LIMITED);"
the objects for which the said Company is established
being "the purchase of land in Oamaru and the
erection thereon of buildings, a portion of which
shall be set apart for a Lodge for the use of free
and accepted Masons in Oamaru, and for such other
purposes as the Company may from time to time
determine, and for the purpose of raising interest
upon the shares of the Company, and funds to be
invested in buying up shares and otherwise for the
benefit of Freemasonery in Oamaru District."
