In the Supreme Court of New Zealand: Middle
District.

In the matter of "The Debtors and Creditors Act,
1862;" and of "The Debtors and Creditors Act
Amendment Act, 1865;" and in the matter of
the petition of Charles Edward Luxford, of the
City of Wellington, in the Province of Welling-
ton, butcher, one of the firm of Charles Edward
Luxford and Company, butchers.

NOTICE is hereby given that the said Charles
Edward Luxford did, on the nineteenth day of
March instant, present his petition praying for the
sequestration of his estate for the benefit of all his
creditors, and for relief according to the provisions
of the said Act; and that the said petition has been
accepted by His Honor Mr. Justice Johnston, who
has appointed the twenty-sixth of March instant, at
the hour of eleven o'clock in the forenoon, for a
meeting of creditors of the said petitioner, to be held
at the Grand Jury Room, Wellington; and also
appointed Tuesday, the eighth day of May next, at
the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon, in the
Supreme Court House at Wellington aforesaid, for
the hearing of the said petitioner, at which time and
place all parties concerned are to attend.

NOTICE is hereby given that by commission
dated the twenty-third day of October, 1865,
under the hand of His Honor Sir Valentine Fleming,
Knight, Chief Justice of the said Court, and under
the seal of the same Court, I, the undersigned
Walter Scott Reid, of Invercargill, in the Province
of Southland and Colony of New Zealand, solicitor,
have been appointed a Commissioner for taking
oaths, affirmations, or affidavits, in any cause,
matter or thing depending or hereafter to be
depending or concerning the said Supreme Court of
Tasmania.

Dated this twenty-eighth day of February, 1866.

NOTICE is hereby given, that by deed bearing
date the ninth day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-six, and made between Henry
Wright, of the Taitai, in the Province of Wellington
and Colony of New Zealand, storekeeper, of the one
part, and Edward Owen and William John Gandy,
of Wellington aforesaid, trustees, of the other part,
the said Henry Wright did convey, assign, and assure
all and singular the lands, tenements, and heredita-
ments of him the said Henry Wright, of whatsoever
nature or tenure, unto the said Edward Owen and
William John Gandy, their heirs and assigns, upon
trust, to sell the same as therein mentioned, and to
stand possessed of the proceeds to arise from such
sale or sales upon the trusts in the deed next herein-
after mentioned, declared of and concerning the
same. And notice is hereby further given, that by
deed bearing even date with the last-mentioned deed,
and made between the said Henry Wright, therein
described, of the first part, Edward Owen and William
John Gandy, therein further described as two of the
creditors of the said Henry Wright, of the second
part; and the several other persons whose hands and
seals are hereunto set and affixed, being respectively
creditors of the said Henry Wright, of the third
part; the said Henry Wright did assign and transfer
all and singular the personal estate and effects of
him unto the said Edward Owen and William John
Gandy, their executors, administrators, and assigns,

upon trust for sale as therein mentioned; and upon
further trust to hold the proceeds, as well of the sale
of the said personal estate and effects, as also of the
lands, tenements, and hereditaments hereinbefore
mentioned, upon trust as therein mentioned, for the
benefit of all the creditors of the said Henry Wright,
and that the said deeds were duly executed on the
day of the dates thereof, by the said Henry Wright,
Edward Owen, and William John Gandy, in the
presence of the undersigned Patrick Alphonsus
Buckley, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New
Zealand, and is now filed in the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, at Wellington, and signed by more
than three-fourths in value of the Creditors of the
said Henry Wright.

application to register "Riche's Gold
Claim Company, Registered," under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865," and
I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following
statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge,
true in every particular, namely :-

  1. The name of the Company is "Riche's Gold
    Claim Company, Registered."
  2. The place of operation is at Blue Spur, Tuapeka.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is three
    thousand pounds, in three hundred shares of ten
    pounds each.
  4. The amount already paid up is three thousand
    pounds.
  5. The name of the manager is Richard Creeth.
  6. The office of the Company is at Temple
